So this is my first review on Yelp and it isn't a good one…read more I ordered a simple, plain meal from here and to be fair it was ready in about 5 minutes, so a plus for the spead. However this is where it went downhill. After arriving home I was found that 2 of the items were cold with only the chips warm, which got me thinking that this order had been sitting for someone else and was just passed to us when it was not collected. After a phone call we were told to re-package and return it so they could CHECK IT!! REALLY!! Upon returning it was taken from me and after 2 or 3 minutes I was told a new one was being prepared. NO APOLOGY OR OFFER OF REFUND OR PARTIAL REFUND WAS EVER MADE, DISGRACEFUL. Upon returning home the food was once again dished out. It was just bland and greasy and after a few mouthfuls we ended up just throwing it out. Never again will I return here, poor food, terrible service and just bad customer service.

The music is all hand picked at head office to be trendy and nice in the background. The sweet chilli chicken is yummy. I'm not a burger man, or even a fast-food man, but I'm not a snob. Mcdonalds have improved the feel of being in a Mcdonalds. The food is the same as everyone knows it is. You can walk into any one and know what you're getting.

I usually order the meal A, which consists of pakora, which is a decent portion (veg or mixed although I never get mixed so I really couldn't say what was in it) A curry (Bhuna, chicken one at that) some spiced onions and a couple of popadoms. All in all it's fairly decent portions a fairly decent price.

The restaurant is very relaxed, while maintaining a very high standard in everything they do. As I said the vegetable dumplings kofta was fantastic, dumplings of cottage cheese and veg was a concept that I could never have dreamt up before never mind tasted. It was delicious in curry form, tastes I can't quite describe. To go with this I had vegetable rice, which again was done to perfection, enriched with various vegetables. I was stuffed. The portions were a great size and even thought I was unfamiliar with a few of the dishes the staff were happy to explain and offer their recommendations. They don't even do burgers or chips, though they do have pineapple pakora, which sounds interesting if not particularly nice. If you're in this neck of the woods, try to avoid, but then again if you do end up in this part of town, you'll likely have more to worry about than your next takeaway.

Sigh. I'm getting close to reviewing all the Maccas in Glasgow... now there's an achievement I…read moredon't actually want to reach. I was super hungry post-hospital visit, and headed here. It's 24 hours and has a drive thru which is excellent as I'm always worried of seeing someone I know if I actually have to get out of the car. Service was quick, friendly - the typical Maccas script, really. I got a double cheeseburger and some moz dippers (hey, I know how to eat my feelings) and munched away in the car park. It's not the best Maccas I've ever, or the worst. It filled me up and left me with that feeling of shame that only Maccas can deliver. And for only £5 too. Bargain.
