In the interior of the castle, visitors may see Christian IV's bedchamber and other rooms, the Treasury with the Danish crown jewels, etcetera. I unfortunately did not have tickets to tour the inside of the castle, but based on online photos, I really wish that I had bought tickets so I could see the historic, fancy rooms. I did, however, spend much time walking around the exterior of the castle. The architecture looked gorgeous. Then I walked through the garden, for which I wrote a separate Yelp review, and then I saw the moat with fish and the drawbridge leading to the castle. I recommend that tourists visit this castle.

Grand, simple & elegant garden. The inside was just amazing from room after room, from one level to the next and you got to down into the jewel in the basement for the grand jewels plus others. Just simply magnificent, I didn't have time to be bored or a break from it cause everything just connect from one to another. Everything just has that cozy but yet loyal vibe. They went three days in a row and would have gone more but we had a planned trip to Billund. The major highlight is all the tricycle, quad-cycle, and scooter equipment they have for public use. These are not your standard play equipment. They're solidly build tanks! The playground had a painted course the kiddos could follow. Other cool features are the downed Japanese Zero plane, wooden wavelike bridge, sunken ship with a steep slide, balance beams that are actually challenging and whale/boat play structures. The playground is fully fenced in and filled with locals and visitors alike. There benches, picnic tables, restroom, and what appears to be a garden plant boxes. Overall a great playground with ample room for the kids to run and stay busy for hours at a time.

Konditaget Lüders is one of the more unique playgrounds/outdoor gyms I've seen in all my world…read moretravels. Located on the rooftop level of a design-forward parking lot in Copenhagen's Nordhavn neighborhood, there are two steep stairs you can access the playground from. Once you're at the top, a fence protects the space, but you can still see amazing views of the water and city. There are bars, climbing structures, benches, trampolines and a net that offers a view straight down into the parking garage. For a unique experience, I recommend stopping by!
