Fried pickles-super salty. Prob won't get them again

Stopped in for a cold beer and good burger lunch on our way to FW. Easy to get in/out. Always Super cold beers, great service. Wonderful burgers!!! Was not impressed with their pickles or Bloody Mary but everything else was top notch so we will be back.

I'm going to park this right here! One of the best burgers we have had in a long time. The hamburger is seasoned and Juicy, (perfectly cooked) the bun is light and airy with the right amount of toasting. 2 slices of tomatoes, with cheese, extra pickles, onions, mayo and mustard. Pure perfection. The fries arrived hot and seasoned. I'd challenge anyone to find a better burger in DFW. To whom ever could eat "the big Fred" deserves a medal! Service was exceptional. Fast and courtesy with a warm smile.

Slow moving on being greeted to be seated, but not a deal breaker to ruin our evening. Hostess was really nice and sat us right away in the bar area. Our waiter the bartender greeted us soon after to take our drink order. I would recommend the Hot Pink and Paloma. Both are excellent drinks! I ordered the Fred burger with fries and it was so good! Food came out in a timely manner after placing order. The music in the restaurant is perfect for an evening out. Would highly recommend for a family dinner or a night out for parents without the kiddos to enjoy a great meal with a drink.

We had a party of 8, and our waitress was very attentive and took great care of us. The portions are huge, the food was well seasoned, and we all left happy. The environment is fun, with a lot of Texas themed decorations, neon signs, and music in the background. Fred's is definitely worth a visit, but make sure you show up hungry!

Fred's was okay! We liked our actual meal, which consisted of the Original Fred's Burger and Chicken Fried Steak sandwich. However, our starter wasn't that great as the queso tasted like it was re-heated/not fresh. The chips were alright. We hardly saw our waitress except at the beginning when she took our order, a totally different person brought our food. We assumed she was the only one working but we could have been wrong. These days it seems to be the norm for one server be on a shift serving every table. Regardless, we received our food in a timely matter. I don't think we will return though, for the price we paid I would've expected more from the food. It wasn't as good this time around.

You NEVER go wrong at Fred's. The food is always fantastic, the beer always cold, and the service and people are exceptional. We bring our grandkids, visitors, and friends here. Quickly became our weekly go to bar and grill.

I wanted to try Fred's since coming to TX because it was on Guy Fieri's Diners, Drive In and Dives. It did not disappoint. We tried the loaded fries. It's enough for 3 or 4 to eat from. The Big Smash burger and the Hot Honey chicken is to die for. The hot honey chicken was delicious. The classic margaritas had a nice punch to it it. I love classic cocktails. Needless to say, I had plenty to take home.

We met here because its central to all the adult offspring. WOW we where impressed. Sat in the bar area and had a magherita(frozen) it was very good and only one needed. (I think they may have specials but we didnt have the timing right, however the price was fine) Several of us got burgers and they where big and did not disappoint. Came with fries and you can upgrade them to loaded. My daughters both did and they where covered and smothered in cheesy goodness. My son and his wife tried the chicken fried steak which came with 2 sides and was HUGE. This is a relaxed bar atmosphere and staff is attentive and food delish.. Add it to the love list

Hadn't been here in several years and we've been back 3 times in the last month. We love their burgers and the variety of choices. The loaded cheese fries are amazing and fresh cut fries.

Seems like a cool place to kick back with some cold adult beverages and watch a Cowboys game. But I came here to eat so: The Jalapeño sausage was awesome. The chopped brisket though was good not great. As for the sides, I tend to pass so can't comment on those. Didn't get to have any suds or whiskey so can't comment on those either. So I will be back next time thirsty and hungry.

The building is a newer renovated building, currently it's in a bit of an odd place, especially with all of the construction going on around it. It's not off the highway nor is it near a main road. Yet, it's a big building with a decent amount of stock. It's the size of an old 7 Eleven, so that gives you some scale. The shelves are all wood and self made. Doesn't look like it has proper support, definitely not where I was looking in the whiskey section. The selection for whiskey wasn't a vast as other locations, yet they did have some rare finds that were still at MSRP, which is a huge plus, they aren't marking items up just because they are sought after. However, the location this store sits in isn't really a harbinger for attracting high end clients that will spend $100-$200 on premium whiskey and spirits. Tho, this is why I search out these stores, as they usually have exactly what I'm looking for, unlike the big stores in the high traffic and high economy locations. They had my Buffalo Trace and Elijah Craig. They did have some more rare brands behind the counter, which is normal. Moving on to the staff, the gentleman that greeted me followed me around like I was either a possible thief or he was just bored. Not sure which. It made me a bit uncomfortable. Being my first visit, I wanted to see what they had and what the overall price points were. I asked if he had a few specific ones, Wellars, Buffalo Trace, Eagle Rare, Oregon Trail, First Call, Woodford Reserve, Grangestone .... they had a few of these but not all. Grangeston is a Scotch, and I didn't see any scotch at all. Oregon Trail and First call in all fairness is a not so widely known brand, tho very good, I've only found them at Total Wine, tho they aren't exclusive brands. This isn't my normal stomping grounds, it's likely I won't visit again unless I just happen to pass through and want more Buffalo Trace.
