It was a friend who wanted to come here and after he reminded me it was Rose from Masterchef who ran the cafe, I agreed to try it. While that's pretty awesome, something way cooler happened! Towards the end of our meal, Georgia Barnes (2015 runner up) and Jessie Spiby (2015) came into the cafe for coffee. Lucky us right? My only regret was not asking for a photo with the three of them. Onto the review. As usual I was pretty indecisive and tend to go for a burger option if I can't decide, so I ordered the lamb kofta burger while my friend went for the Lebanese Mezze Breakfast. The wait wasn't too lengthy and my burger was pretty tasty. It's a different type of burger than what I'd normally have, because this one was really fresh and quite light. There was plenty of hummus along with pickled cabbage, cucumber, tomato and a bed of rocket. It stands out visually with the colours. The kofta patty was not bad but I felt it was a bit on the thin side, because there was quite alot of turkish bread that formed the buns. And yeah, as a result the whole experience was quite bready for me but thanks to the hummus and the veges the burger wasn't dry. My friend also wanted to try one of their house made tarts as well so I just had a little bit. It was a passionfruit curd one and it was decent, not too sweet and refreshing due to the passionfruit. But at $4.50 for what's essentially a mini-tart it's getting on the pricey side. I would have gone for a baklava if I was craving a sweet pastry. The interior is very clean looking and inviting, on par with alot of the nicer cafes around the city. The prices are solid ($10.50) for the lamb burger and the breakfast ($15.50). The location is one reason I'd come back- no need to drive to the city just for brunch or lunch. There's a few other things I'd like to try as well if I come back. Gelato I must have…read morebeen living under a rock or maybe just a cosy winter blankie for the last 6 months but I was unaware that "Enzo's at home" stocks their own home brand super duper gelato. Proudly formulated in-house with only the highest quality ingredients such as the best Belgian chocolate, we Adelaidians can now add another home town delight to our list of summer coolers. With flavours like Kahlua, Hazelnut, Fig, Belgian chocolate and my favourite Turkish Delight they can be enjoyed in a cup or cone. They are happy to provide sample tastings at their Adelaide Central Market store. Enzo's at home is the perfectly placed store for a very creamy and rich treat to take home for a cheat's easy dessert - buy some fresh stone fruit, grill and top with whatever liqueur you have to caramelise (marsala would be perfect), top with gelato of choice and crumble over amaretto biscuits. I love my gluten so this is actually a taste preference as opposed to a dietary need, but it's also super handy for when I have to cater to those gastrically impaired friends of mine. My faves are the mini lemon cheese cakes and the olive bread. Delish! The staff are always helpful and eager to assist. The boy eats the turkish delight gelati (urk!) like it's going out of fashion. Okay - maybe it's just me, but I'm also into nuts and seeds and soy stuff and these guys have all the basics you will need to keep your naturopath approved temple in good running order. If you're more of a gym junkie, Marden Health also stocks all those strange powders and pills that are the standard accoutrements to your mysterious hobby. The point of difference is that they stock fresh juices which are damn hard to find elsewhere... so when you just gotta find FRESH (not ocean spray, or any other supermarket brand) cranberry or blueberry juice for Iggy pop within the next 24 hours Marden Health is the place to go. They cost so much it's evident they've been hand squeezed by faries... but I don't think popstars really consider financial trivialities like $40 juices.

Her range of juices is large and rather exotic, as well as the fridge range of vegan friendly foods, like sprouted spelt. The other half of the shop holds a standard range of herbal health care, and though the selection isn't as large as some shops, it has been very well chosen to include all the important herbs by well-priced brands. This is one of the few shops where I can find Olive Leaf, which is a great herb for colds, so I visit here regularly, and often come home with a bag of nuts or healthy munchies or some nice moisturiser. I like the wide variety of products here and can mostly find anything I'm looking for.
