I would not use Freedom Painters for any project, unless you plan on fixing any problems yourself. After doing a decent exterior paint job initially Eric has failed to come out and fix a small area of the facia where the paint blistered. It has Been almost 3 months of promised dates and he has not shown up. Warranty and follow through is non existent. read more

I would never recommend Freedom Painters to anyone. Freedom painters Was hired to replace bad boards and paint the exterior of our home in December. They did not want to go to the trouble to scrape all the areas where the old paint was pealing or bubbled up and painted over, it as shown in the photo. Next Eric said he didn't know so many boards needed replacing and that he didn't quote that many and wasn't going to replace them all. We agreed to pay for the extra lumber required and an additional amount for labor in order for him to complete the job. Trim boards around the face of the door were cut out and small pieces were put in leaving ugly cuts all around the face of the door frame. After an argument he replaced it with a full board. Now the previous paint is bleeding through in places where the paint was applied to thin and where the loose paint on the fireplace brick was not removed, the new paint now comes off with the old paint if you rub against it. When Eric was contacted about these issues his response was that he had lost money on this job and would not return for anything he was done. I am not sure how the text in this post was removed but this is my second time to enter this information. read more

I've waited about 3 months to write this review because I wanted to make sure my frustrations in the moment didn't cloud the facts. Even after 90 days I still am upset at the quality of work and lack of professionalism by this company. I wrote a long review out, but I don't want to make this into a novel, so below is a short recap of the issues. -The crew working in our house were nice, but they didn't communicate with the owner, Eric, on timelines. Eric would say they'd be done in x amount of days and when I'd ask the crew they'd look at me like I was crazy. -The head of the crew smoked in our front yard throughout the day, which doesn't bother me at all. What did bother me were the dozens of cigarette butts she left on our grass and driveway. She did clean up a lot of them, but there were still tons still there. -Canceled appointments, workers going to the wrong house, not answering text messages. The list goes on and on, but it took 3 months to get them back out to fix the issues we had with their work. -Eric acted unprofessionally several times with me on the phone and text messages. -In the end, Eric denied to come back to fix the paint running that was on our cabinets. Again, I have pictures and text messages to show much more than I listed here, but I don't want to turn this into 10,000 words. I would never use them again, and would recommend finding literally anyone else. read more

I should start by saying how hesitant i was do redo our kitchen. I was worried it would be too costly, too many up sells, inconsistent work, etc. However, Freedom painters were amazing!! They were so responsive, so professional and so reasonably priced! They use top grade Sherwin Williams paint & truly are the epitome of efficient and effective. I felt by the end of the process, I became friends with John and Eric, the owners. They were so attentive and the customer service was unparalleled to any other home service I have had (this is our third property for reference)! Whenever I had a question, they were just a call or text away at any time! They painted my wood cabinets white, my walls from lemon yellow to gray, and my island twice bc I didn't like the color the first time - oops. They made me feel so valued and not like a pain at all! I did not want to do this and tried to work with Eric, the owner of the business. Started this paint job back in August. I was out of state and wanted the interior of the house painted before I moved in. Eric assured me that I did not need to be there and I gave him total access to the house. After the job was completed I noted the following: Trims missed and high ceiling needed another coat. The painter did come back to paint the ceiling but missed the trims even though I pointed it out to them. Were also suppose to install my high ceiling light fixture but did not. Trash was left all over the house (potato chips, dirty rags, old lunch bags etc.) None of the empty paint cans, plastic sheets were thrown away. Left in my garage in a pile for me to throw away. A lot of my blinds, wall sockets plates were left off and not put back up. The worse was one of my tall 30ft light ceiling fixture was left off and I have no ladder that can get that high. Called, texted and left messages for Eric and at first said he would come over to take care of it but has not. It's November now and he is not even returning my text or calls. I wanted to give him a higher rating but I can't. read more

Freedom painters just finished a wonderful job for me. I needed some finishing work done on our entry way where my husband had taken out a closet and a half wall. Eric came by and said his SA crew could handle the project along with all the rooms and doors that I wanted painted inside the house. Beto's and his crew did an excellent job. They did some float and taping, removed ceiling popcorn, textured and painted. Eric gave me a fair estimate and I was very pleased with the outcome. During a lunch break the crew mentioned how much they liked working for Eric and how he was a good boss. That goes a long way in my book...if you treat your workers fairly...then you will treat your customers fairly too. I received a phone call from ERIC @ FREEDOM PAINTERS on WEDNESDAY 28 APRIL 2021, confirming he would meet me at my home on THURSDAY 29 APRIL 2021. At 2:pm I was calling him to ask if he could come by early and if not wanted to confirm our appointment for 3pm. At 2:13pm I followed up by sending him a text. Received no response from neither the phone call or text. 3pm had passed and at 3:05pm I sent a text saying: "Hello I was confirming the 3pm appointment. Are you canceling the appointment?" I received a message from someone..I believe it was a Supervisor, saying: "Yes I saw that. I have meetings that last a little while sometimes like the one I'm in now. Let go ahead and say my sales rep isn't going to make it. My apologies sir. Will call you after my meeting." To make a long story short, I never received a phone call from ERIC or the Supervisor. I HIGHLY NOT RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY AT ALL! Their Lack of communication and their CUSTOMER SERVICE were HORRIBLE! read more

At first Eric, the owner, was very accommodating. I thought his price for having the interior of my house painted was reasonable. I wanted flat paint but he bought eggshell. He said the matte flat I wanted in Benjamin Moore was too expensive . He didn't ask me if they could use eggshell. He just bought it. I initially thought the painter did a good job but as the project was ending I started to see problems like paint not covering evenly, wall color getting on crown moulding, poor drywall repair. I told Eric and he sent over another painter the next day who did a decent job of fixing the areas of concern. Eric kept promising to bring me some of the left over paint for touch ups.. I contacted him several times but he never brought it. In summary, I wouldn't recommend this company. read more
