Her team is also very competent, considerate and caring in all situations. And her costs are fair and the front desk always makes sure I get the best price based on my insurance. As someone who appreciates excellence and value in the doctors they use, I can say Dr. Larson is an excellent dentist and her team delivers great value every time I visit. On my way to my scheduled appointment I was caught behind an accident in Charlevoix so as a courtesy to the dentist I called to let them know that I may be up to 2 minutes late. I was placed on hold for a second and another female took the call and told me that my appointment had been canceled because she could not confirm my appointment that I had made a year earlier. I told her that I was close to their office and I would prove to her that I had not received a message from her. She was insisting she had but no record of her call could be found. Fifteen minutes early I arrived. I explained that regardless of her inability to reach me, should make no difference as I made an appointment and I was here for that appointment. I explained that them overbooking should not make me accountable for all the people that shirked their appointments. That's not my style, if anything I'm overly curious. I don't often complain on the media but gasoline has gotten expensive as we all know. I sat and waited for a spot to open and shifted my schedule around to accommodate them, while they whispered to one another in regards to the part they played. PART 1 of review Do not send your loved one here…read more This is a facility meant for hard care drug addictions and people who are court ordered. Searching for a facility that was a rehabilitation for an average society person. This is not that kind of facility when you research and read about this place. It sounds like a lovely middle society rehabilitation center. That's not what it is. The issue I have with this place is the fact that they labeled it as something that it's not, I understand society needs a facility like this for the hard-core people who are coming out of jail or who are court ordered to stay at jail or who arrive are at jail and our drugged out on meth/coke or whatever their choice of drug is. We were looking for a facility for alcohol rehab, and this place was labeled not what it is. It doesn't allow you to see the facility for what it is and make the proper choice sadly. The online pictures of the main office. We ended up choosing this place and sending my brother to it, which was one of the worst decisions we ever made. I received two letters from him that were so concerning about what was happening on the inside aside from the broken down facility that if I had seen with my own eyes, I never would've dropped him off at. I learned that broken down school to only handle anything but the lowest of low societies people on drugs. It's a glorified detox center even if you were to transfer into the living part it needs to be labeled for what it is. It's a detention center lower than a halfway house then label it is that so that people can make the choice to be at the right place. It says that you can receive phone calls video chats. You will have contact with your loved one. You will not, they will not even allow police in there as I had to call the police to do a health and wellness check because of the letters that I was getting about how bad the place was inside. When I called to inquire about this, they assured me that that was not the case and he's always supervised and there's someone always there. I had to tell them that was a lie because that's not what's happening. I was told you can't talk to him, I told them the police are coming let them have eyes on my brother. She told me I was threatening her and she ignorantly shut down and hung up. After talking to the police they informed me how bad of a place this was and that you won't get any contact and they can't do anything about it because of HIPPA! The minute you sign that you have just locked yourself or your loved one into somewhere where no one can get to them and you can't get them out easily. My brother was never told anything no messages no nothing. Denied all communication. Police went to do a health health and wellness check on my brother and weren't even allowed to put eyes on them. This was again confirmed to me the outcome they expected and could do nothing and they advised me to show up in person and remove him with their assistance. OK then I'm coming to get him as he was signed in on his accord. I had further conversations later with the same cop, and the cop told me that if they didn't give him to me and I showed up in person that I would have a civil lawsuit on my hands which could happen. The cop said he would assist me in getting my brother, but after I let the facility know that I was coming with cops. I was taking my brother out of there. Even the reviews that are coming from people who are lower than low society and ordered there the other ones are people who don't have a place to think this place is a vacation. We're talking about people who probably come straight up the street addicted to drugs, hard core. This place is just not labeled what it says it is and that's where my problem is. I understand we need facilities like this for society, so this place needs to be honest and listed for what it is. No normal living society person would choose on their own accord to go to this place if they knew the misleading of it being a rehabilitation center because it's not. Some of the other issues that I found out from my brother afterwards were that he was denied any communication for the first 12 days except 1 phone call he which assures this place in keeping $1,300 a day per person paycheck. No one self singed in would choose to be or stay. I also found out that for 30 people there were split between only two rooms in this whole facility. The rest were Office buildings. I found that the area that the police bring people in and the general public go into is the detox center and that's the only area that's visually decent. It's also their picture area so you never really see what goes behind closed doors in the regular area. Finding out that they had things there to use for rehabilitation, but yet they weren't allowed to use, rehabilitation information and AA books were pretty much nonexistent if anything I guess 4 copies.
