Well, here is another pub that I can now mark off my list, though I can't say that it wasn't really all that great. Okay, they did have a nice beer garden, though a part of me suspects that it isn't really used all that much. However, yeah, I can't say that this pub particularly stood out all that well. Brilliant meals, best burgers, great service & friendly people....great value for money...! Must visit!!

Great historic country pub. Food is top quality and a pleasant surprise. We tried the FH Burger, Spinach and Feta Tart and a Beef and Mushroom Pie all served with a generous portion of hot chips and salad. All were delicious and a great value for the price. We will definitely stop here again if traveling nearby! read more
