Had bigger issues than originally realizing, yet they still finished 95% in one day. Estimate was reasonable and dead on. Freeman and Sons made this huge roof problem a wonderful experience. Bradley was nice at first and seemed very knowledgeable, he was also price competitive on some of the projects. He outsources his work to other companies that are not at the level Bradley is charging. I had a roof complete, paid for shingles and siding. Siding was not done on the majority of the house. When I followed up on this he acknowledged the issues were done wrong, sent someone out to do some partial work and then said he wasn't doing anymore work to correct the issue and blocked me. He is trying to blame how the siding was done, something he has never raised as an issue, nor did the outsources roofers, and won't offer to complete the work once we have new siding or refund me for the work I paid for that he acknowledged they didn't complete. I wouldn't use this company again or recommend to any friends. Stay away! read more

Brad worked under contract to Lowe's to do roofing. I went to Lowe's for roofing and he was assigned to do our work. Nothing much went right from the start. It took a long, long time for Brad and his workers to get started (I signed up in August and work started in early December). When they finally arrived it was trouble right from the start. First they arrived without tarps to catch debris from the roof. They were going to leave but I quickly provided some tarps so they could get working. The lead guy soon fell off the roof! He landed on a small porch and didn't move at first. Suffice it say he didn't show up for the next few days (it was bloody lucky he wasn't killed!) Things went downhill from there. They had a young lad doing grunt work who was far more interested in his cellphone than working. He was sloppy and left way, way, way too much of the old roofing stuff on the ground rather than hauled over to their dump-trailer. I will be picking up nails, tar paper, roofing materials for years! He busted up a small ornamental tree dragging loaded tarps over it (and never said a word -- I suspect he never noticed). It gets worse. Bottom line is that they quit the job before it was done. There were many details that needed attention -- one of which was an opening that let squirrels into the attic. NOT GOOD. Calls to Brad only got me promises of sending someone here "soon". "Soon" never came. Ever. After months of pestering Brad to finish the job he suddenly reported that he no longer worked for Lowe's and it was not his problem anymore, ending with "Have a nice day". Lowe's eventually got another roofer to come and fix errors and finish the job. In that process I learned that Lowe's had other Brad Freeman jobs that had to be remedied also. The saddest thing about Brad is that twice, once when the job was about to start and again near the end of his presence here, he promised me that he gives a 10-year warranty on the work regardless of what Lowe's does. I called him on that when things had gone wrong and he ignored me. I'd be very careful before allowing Brad Freeman to do any work for you. He's not to be trusted and the job may never get done -- and you may be cleaning up after his crew for a very long time. read more

I called Brad to come out and look at our roof. He was very responsive and provided some great ideas on how to address issues and improve the look of house. We had 3 quotes in hand and Brads was the best of the 3. I wasn't looking for the lowest price; I wanted a great roof that would hold up to the heavy snow and rain and moisture we get from the water we are on. They came out as scheduled and finished our house in the snow in 3 days. Cleaned up and boom our house looked amazing. I plan to bring Brad back out to put a new roof on the garage after we get an addition completed. Highly recommend this team of talented workers. Brad has integrity, is fair and honest. Brad Freeman & Son Construction was contracted by Lowes to do our roof. BUYER BEWARE!! 1. Lowes should have never chosen this company so don't use Lowes for roof installations. They have been giving us the run around for a year. 2. We paid 15K for a new roof (shingles, sidewall flashing, etc) as routine upkeep to our home. After the roof installation we had multiple leaks. 3. This company came multiple times and did multiple patchworks fixes and it still leaks 4. We now have damage to our interior because of the new roof 5. Brad himself kept saying the roof was done flawlessly and came over to address leaks on our porch that used to be so dry we keep regular furniture on it year round. His fix then was putting a bead of Luxcel caulk across the porch roof where the roof meets the side wall of the house. 6. We find out the real reason we are having all these leaks is that they never installed new sidewall flashing like they were supposed to and had disturbed the old flashing while removing the old shingles leaving gaps, holes, etc. 7. Our 15K roof is now 1 year, still leaks and when professional roofers look at it they sympathize with us as they shake their heads. RECOMMENDATION IS NEVER USE THIS CONTRACTOR*****OH! and my husband is a 100% disabled veteran who served his country for 23+ years and this year long debacle has effected his health very negatively. We are active with the Southern Maine Agency on Aging, My husband is the Chaplain for the VFW, and volunteers for the Vet-to-Vet program. LOWES is great for military discount but they do not have our backs. read more

I called and left a message about our leaky roof and Brad got back to me very quick. He said he would be able to come out the next day to take a look at it and give me a quote for what he would expect it to cost. He said he would e-mail that night with some info as well as his proof of insurance. He never sent the e-mail, nor did he show up the next day. I followed up with another phone call and he apologized and we set another appt for the following Monday; late morning or early afternoon. I again took the day off from work so I could be there and... he no showed. Foolishly, I followed up with him and he said that the following Sunday would work just perfect for him -- he would arrive around 12:30 to 1pm. Once again a no show and no call. So three strikes and out. Maybe he does fine work once he actually shows up, but obviously I can not vouch for that. I can only hope his work is a better than his word. read more
