Spent 40 euros on 4 Atari 2600 games, only 1 actually worked although shop owner told me they were all legit. Shame as the shop is unique and has a lot of stuff on offer. read more

Definitely worth a visit if you are in the area. We were staying in the northern part of Berlin but made the trip down because the pictures online looked like they had quite a selection. The owner was quiet but was helpful even though I didn't know German. It was worth the trip as I found a game I have been on the hunt for across many different stores and countries! Highly recommended! read more

I visited Freeman Games this year as part of a Birthday trip to Berlin. Being a collector I had done my research into what retro game stores there were around Berlin. This is the closest to the centre of Berlin as retro shops go really but it easily accessible by U-Bahn. Approaching the shop, I could just about see the stock that was in the window, and boy was it impressive. Rare games in abundance! Especially one that I was after which I did not notice until I asked if he had it. Unfortunately I did not get the owners name from now on I shall refer to him as Mr. Awesome. We used Google Translate to help as I only speak a tiny amount of German and the Mr. Awesome speaks very little English. Surprisingly, it worked very well. Anyway, Upon entering the shop all I could think was that there were SO many games. Walls of games, baskets in the middle full of games and even games on shelves further up the walls! I was in heaven. Immediately, I saw loads of games that I wanted but could only take home as many as my wallet would let me. Mr. Awesome was very accommodating and let me climb up to get whatever I wanted. As I was going round picking up game after game, Mr. Awesome went to get the systems the games were for in order to test them. The best bit of the whole experience was that no price was fixed. Mr. Awesome was well up for a haggle, with google translate being the 'middle man' in the situatuion. He was very kind in letting ME check prices on games also. After all that, I cannot recommend Freeman Games enough. If you are ever in Berlin and are a Retro Collector you simply MUST visit this shop. There were so many games in this shop that I have never seen ANYWHERE in the UK or elsewhere. Definitely worth a visit. P.S. For those that are interested, I picked up Kid Icarus for the NES, Startropics for the NES, Adventure Island II for the NES, a 4 in 1 bootleg for the NES, An NTSC boxed copy of Claymates for the SNES with the holographic cover and Castlevania: Symphony of the Night for the PS1, I will not say the price but it was an absolute steal. read more

Freeman Games ist ein großartiger Laden für Fans von Retro-Spielen und Konsolen. Die Auswahl ist einfach gigantisch (die Bilder geben einen ganz guten Eindruck von der unglaublichen Grösse) und es sind Spiele für einige Konsolen dort erhältlich die ich nie erwartet hätte wie z.B. die überraschend Große Auswahl an Sega Saturn Spielen. Der Verkäufer ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Ich habe selber den Laden irgendwann im Herbst 2014 besucht und war absolut begeistert. Ich kann die anderen Bewertungen überhaupt nicht nachvollziehen, da jedes dort angesprochene Problem heutzutage in diesem Laden nicht mehr präsent ist. Dieser Laden hat die 5 Sterne absolut verdient und ich rate jedem der nach so einem Laden sucht dringenst Freeman Games eine Canche zu geben. read more

Also, der Laden hat allerhand Retrospiele,Retrokonsolen von Atari bis Sega, Nintendo und Sony. Keine Neu waren oder Gaecards etc. Das muss auch nicht sein, da der Besitzer sich eben auf retro spezialisiert hat. Der Besitzer ist sehr freundlich und hilft weiter bei bestimmten Fragen zu Spielen, ob selten oder nicht. Die Preise sind entsprechend angemessen, je nach Popularität des Spieles und alter. Konsolen wurden vor dem Kauf auf Funktionalität getestet und getauscht, wenn nicht 100% in Ordnung. Was nicht da ist versucht man zu besorgen, daher super Klasse. Bekommt daher volle Punktzahl und wird sicher wieder besucht. Danke an den Chef :D. read more

Kein großer Fan von Comics oder irgendetwas, aber mein Sohn liebte es sehr. Ich habe ihm ein paar seiner Lieblings-Wunder-Comic-Bücher wie Captain America und Spiderman. Er scheint intreged zu sein, aber ich nicht so sehr. Ein ziemlich guter Preis für die Bücher, würde ich sagen. Ich schaute nach den typischen Preisen für diese Comic-Bücher und sie kosten in der Regel 100 Euro für nur einen! read more

Hat fast alles, was das Retro Spiele und Konsolenherz begehrt. Was nicht da ist, wird besorgt falls möglich. Besitzer ist sehr freundlich und hilft weiter. Preise sind gut, entsprechen den spielen je nach wert. Weiter so, 5 Sterne für den job dort! read more
