After trying a few nail salons around the area, I called French Nails. They were available to take me rather quickly for a last minute pedicure. The salon was clean and quaint. The ladies who worked there were very friendly and accommodating. I got a precision pedicure, just standard pedicure. The lady who worked on me was very precise and excellent. She used heated stones as part of the foot massage. She did an excellent pedicure. When I was sitting under the dryers, she even gave me a shoulder massage. How very nice!! I tried this place at the recommendation of a friend. The remodel looks ok but you can tell it was not done with attention to detail with flooring and trim issues near the pedicure bowls. The pedicure was late even though scheduled. It felt rushed, it had a few painful moments and the massage was not adequate. Frankly, for the high price of $45, I would expect a little better service. Had gotten a Gel X manicure, which are expected to last at least 2 weeks before falling off. The owner of the shop did my manicure. I can tell she was in a rush- the artificial nails were definitely smaller than my actual nail beds, but she glued them on anyway. Right when we were done, a nail already popped off. She also admitted she was rushing and giggled about it. A day after, 2 more nails popped off effortlessly and a couple days after, another. Very expensive and it doesn't add up to their work. I'd say they have friendly attitudes, but their work ethic is disappointing. read more

For both mani & pedi- the nail tech opens new, never used, files & buffers. Each station has individual sanitizers for tools. Pedi included hot stone massage- heavenly. Came here for the first time for a girls day out. Had a nice time there and my nails were done pretty well, however the service was mediocre. Most of the time the lady I had was rushing. Another lady happened to drop by while I was getting my nails done and she wanted hers done as well. Unfortunately, there was only two of them running the place, and so they told her to wait even though they had another appointment scheduled for someone else. So the lady rushed through my appointment to try to fit their other lady in. Was not very impressed. Overall, this salon is a decent place to visit. I personally would go somewhere else. this place is horrible! the artists are rude and sit and stare at you when you walk in, unnecessarily expensive may i add!! the nail tech made me bleed twice on one hand and continued after me telling her that shes hurting me and pulling my hand away in pain and nothing changed. They take short cuts to make the glue and such dry faster and it burned my finger nails! This place is extremely cute and quaint. There's classical music playing in the background set at the right volume. I read my book while I got a pedicure. There is a coffee and tea station. The chairs are extremely comfy. The service is amazing. Nia did my pedi and she was wonderful! This was absolutely the worse manicure that I have ever had. Not only did he nail technician cut 5 of my cuticles so low that they began to bleed. What makes the experience even worse, I chose not to tip due to the horrible job that was done on my nails, however the owner followed me out of the nail salon and suggested that I leave a tip for the technician (which I thought was very inappropriate). I explained and showed the owner that my cuticles were bleeding as well as burning and I only received an apology. Two days later my nail beds are very sensitive and if i bump them the pain is very excruciating. I now have scars on my cuticle and pray that they don't become infected! read more

I was so impressed with this salon! I walked in on Wednesday evening. They took me right away. I got a regular manicure and my nails look fantastic. The polish has held up very well.
