Only place I trust with my eyebrows. I'm neurotic about my brows, and I have not been disappointed. The girls ask questions before styling which I like- they don't just wax your eyes all willy nilly. They're doing what you like and making it look good on you. I used to have very long hair, had it for years. I'd always wanted to get a long bob, but was worried that I'd have separation anxiety. As a visitor I Love this place! making my appointment was easy and quick and Kelsea the receptionist was as friendly as you can get. Lucky for me I got a same day appointment. Great hospitality! Being greeted with smiles as I came in and offering me something to drink while I waited is something you don't see anywhere anymore. 2 thumbs up to an AMAZING and FABULOUS hairstylist Amanda Rodriguez who took care of me!! She is a miracle worker. I came in because of a bad haircut from 3 days before and she made my hair look incredible. Love it, love it, love it! Her beautiful, friendly, Cheerful personality made me feel like I've known her for years. Too bad I don't live here. I would for sure be a repeated customer. So today I called to speak with the manager TWICE to discuss the poor service I received, the over charging, and the fact that I have a chemical burn on my face from the facial I got there yesterday. I called once at 12:45 p.m. and left a message because she was "on the phone." When I didn't hear from her I called around 5:15 p.m. and she had gone for the day. The receptionist told me she would contact the manager on her cell and have her get in touch with me. I still haven't heard from her. Based on the response of management I'm getting a better understanding of why their employees suck. read more

Horrible service. Their employees are not trained well. I went for a brazilian wax and the girl who did it did a terrible job (left bad scarring and most hairs were not removed). I now drive 3 hours to Baton Rouge to get this done. Because the job was so bad, I question whether the girl who did the wax is a licensed esthetician. read more

First off, the lighting inside is TERRIBLE so you can't really see the hair color your ending up with. It looked great in the dim lighting but once I got to my car I was like oh my goodness. The stylist made me feel super awkward and was a bit rude, they're also super pricey! It's a nice building though I guess. read more

Very disappointed in my experience. I recently relocated here and was looking forward to finding a nice salon. French Quarters appeared promising so I made an appointment for a manicure and eyebrow wax to try it out. My manicure lasted about 10 minutes (most of which the manicurist spent checking her son who she had to bring to work), and didn't even include a cuticle trim. Within hours of my appointment, the shellac polish began to peel off. My eyebrow wax was decent, minus the waxer leaving me on the table with hot wax on my face while she went to discipline her son out in the salon. Truth be told,she was very apologetic for bringing her child to work and I truly wouldn't have minded it if the quality of work was acceptable. The owner was present, and I would have expected a refund or at least an apology for the complete lack of service and quality. Hopefully this does not reflect how all salons are here... read more

I have now been to this place 3 times. For a massage, my nails and for waxing. All three services I've got are very unprofessional and not done correctly. My two year old could have given a better massage. The lady that did my nails did the worst job I've ever had done they had very few nails polish (ugly colors and all very old.) I went for my birthday with my sister and asked if we could be seated together and they told us no and put us at opposite ends of the room and both ladies told us they didn't do nails. They worked with hair and that the nail lady was gone so they were told to paint our nails. (how unprofessional can you get). Then my nails chipped that SAME DAY!!!! My sister and friend had the same thing happen to them. Then with my waxing the lady didn't pull all my hair and did it incorrectly and hurt me very bad. And I called just a couple hours after having it done and they told me the only thing they could do was redo it but I would have to pay. I asked to speak to the owner and have left my name and number a few times and have never got a call. VERY VERY VERY unprofessional, super poor service, and way over priced for how crappy the services are and how rude they are. We will never be going back there. First off let me start off by begging you not to visit this place. Spend the extra money and take your business somewhere else in Leesville. I went for a shellac manicure and the only thing they got right were they were on time and charged me what they said they were. It started by being greeted nicely. I sat down and she immediately started filing my nail without askingt how I would like them shaped. I asked her for a rounded shape and oh boy are they. They are rounded and uneven, one side is shorter than the other on several of my nails. While shaping she didnt have a towel under my arm/hands so the clippings were flying everywhere and the filings were all over the table, she kindly wiped it all onto the floor. I tried to let that go and thought she would fix my nails later but that never happened. Well she buffed them for a second or two then started to act like she was about to paint them so I asked her if she was going to at least push the cuticles. She got an attitude with me and inspected my nails and said they looked fine to her. I looked at her funny so she get even more upset and huffed and went to go find the cuticle cream. She put it on and pushed my cuticles back and after she was finished she asked me to go to the sink and rinse my nails off. I did but I thought the whole reason for a manicure was that the client get to relax and the manicurist would pamper your hands and nails. After all I can file, clip,and paint my nails myself. After that she started painting my nails. I should add that there were only about 8 or 9 colors for the shellac. She painted and now that I am looking at my nails they look like I got this manicure 2 weeks ago and my nails have grown out and need to be redone. She didnt get close to the cuticle at all. (Im even more disappointed now, please, please just dont go here) After each step she wouldnt tell me to remove my hand from the machine she would just kinda move it and place it in front of the other hand and expect me to know what the next process was. Of course after the base coat was applied and she switched the machine to my other hand I could guess what I should do next. She knew that I had never had the shellac applied and she should have explained a little about the process so I didnt mess my nails up. After she was finished with the polish she put a tiny bit of lotion and got up and walked out so I just figured we were finished and I paid and left. There was a sign on the window when I checked out that read something about there not being any refunds on any services. It seems as though several clients have complained and they wont give refunds now. I couldn't run out of there fast enough. I have lived in several states and in Canada and have had plenty of manicures to know that I got the worst service ever. I could have gone to a cheap nail salon and gotten better service than here. The difference is The French Quarters Salon and Spa is suppose to be high class services. Oh I forgot to mention that halfway into my manicure the receptionist was popping open her coke can and talking about how she loves her Shepard dog and while the shellac was curing my manicurist was popping her knuckles. I am sure there is more that happened that I am forgetting to write about. read more

Highly over priced! I have never paid extra for toner when getting color anywhere else, it's all part of the process. The stylist didn't understand what new growth touch up meant. I will never return here neither recommend to anyone else. It's a shame that the staff is so inexperienced and unprofessional. I give it one star for the nice building. read more

Arrived here at 1100 the stylist approached and thought I was here for a hair cut, when I made the appointment 2 weeks ago I told them color. So 1 1/2 hrs into the appointment the stylist is finally finished with the application of color( I have short very thin hair) she leaves to allow the color set. So after waiting 45 minutes and with the stylists no where to be found I walked up the front desk and notice my stylist giving another person a pedicure. I'm overly aggravated at this point and tell the front desk person some one needs to come rinse my hair out and she tries to tell me it takes that long for the hair color to set. I of course let her know that is not the case and she needs to get someone. So she goes and tells the stylist I want to be rinsed out and then comes and looks at my hair and said it needed a few more minutes. I told her it didn't and the stylist suddenly appears and 2 1/2 hrs in and I'm still not done! I will not be coming back here read more
