You want to come here for many reasons. Let's start with it being a great stop before or after visiting the Southmost Point. Then, there's the staff. So friendly and helpful. The manager spent 15 minutes giving us dinner/bar recommendations on a busy Sunday. Last but paramount - the food is fantastic. Photos show an egg/ham croissant and French toast. As you know, I don't eat anywhere I haven't researched so when I say this was such a pleasurable breakfast, it's an informed statement! This quaint cafe is authentic French with the chill Key West vibe. Get here early because the locals will pack it (such a great sign). Don't come here if you lack culture or appreciation for fresh ingredients and a relaxed atmosphere! We enjoyed a smoked salmon omelette and coffees. I love this spot. Small, non-pretentious, solid menu. Friendly staff and fortunately doesnt get clobbered by tourists until about 10am when the late-nighters get up and moving. Back deck is lovely. Total capacity only ~20ish folks, but add this one to your list. Anything with eggs or bakery items are on point, as you'd expect from a French breakfast bistro. read more

Frenchies is a quaint little place. We were greeted by the owner in English with a strong French accent that was most charming! I replied with bonjure. We had fruit cups, eggs with spinach, bacon, almond croissants that were to die for, and coffee and espresso that were very good! They also have a very sweet dog that gets around to say hello but doesn't bother anyone, doesn't beg, just sits quietly. We'll definitely return if we go back to Key West. read more

Super cute breakfast/brunch spot. We sat on the front patio at a high top for two. Service was slow to come to us (minus one star). Slightly aloof attitude. Felt like being in France. Delicious. Delicious. Delicious!!! Everything here's was so good. My husband mentioned the salami on his panini was some of the best quality salami he's ever had. I had the two egg breakfast. I always ask for my eggs over medium, but most places cook them over easy. My eggs here were cooked perfectly, exactly as I wanted theM. They also gave me plenty of bacon, which most brunch places tend to skimp out on. The latte was very good. It has a natural sweetness and is very smooth. This was a great surprise. We were looking for a good breakfast place, and we decided to try this place. We were seated right away, and was pleasantly surprised with the quality and taste of the food. It was the first time I have ordered the Quiche Lorraine and it was amazing. First timer visit. I had a lovely piece of homemade quiche for lunch today, veggie quiche with Swiss cheese and zucchini/other veggies. They offered a choice of sides and I got the fresh garden salad with their signature dressing. I can't say enough great things about this meal. I love this little place. Two people who were serving this morning were speaking French and I view that as a very good start of getting some seriously authentic French breakfast. I opted for French toasts - the best French toasts I've ever had. I've been to many great brunch places in Manhattan, San Francisco, Toronto, etc. but this is the best! It was not as thick as many other places offer, but every bite make you feel like you were dipping yourself onto this fluffy egg custard. I saw others reviews about the quiche and so I also gave it a try. It has ham and eggs all mixed up, along with lots of cheese especially on the edge to maintain the shape. I'd say it's a savory treat and probably more salty than I expect. Fresh squeezed OJ is great. Nothing so special. A drink that's hard to mess up. We took your advice and came in anticipation of a slow, relaxed breakfast and that is what we got. Come here and enjoy slow pace with the soft French music playing in the background. My favorite breakfast/brunch places always serve fresh made juices and I was not let down here! They were so good! The latte was excellent, the Americano only slightly bitter. The almond croissant was delectable. The avocado toast was delicious but the real star here was the salmon croque! That cheese... yummm! Love love love! We had our last breakfast of our trip here. It was so close to our hotel too, wish we had found it sooner so we could have eaten here more than once. Loved the cozy atmosphere and all of the polaroid pics on the wall. The owners are truly from France. The food was so authentic and absolutely delicious. This quaint little spot near the Southernmost point on Key West was a great find. Seating is limited, but they do have a small patio to sit on along with a few tables inside. My wife and I shared two dishes. The Croque-madame and omelette with spinach and goat cheese were both quite tasty and a hearty breakfast. We have been to Key West 22 times and discovered this place about 15 years ago. Love the food here. If you have never had authentic quiche you should visit for that alone. The husband had a ham and egg croissant sandwich. I had the quiche Lorraine. Both were very satisfying portions and came with mixed fresh fruits. Mine had bacon and ham with so much of the latter it was almost too much meat. Can there be too much meat? Note: do not get Cuban coffee here, it is after all a French cafe. read more
