This particular store had an enormous parking lot, was super clean on the inside. When you entered, there were these scanners you could go ahead and choose to use, the reason? You could go ahead and scan your groceries ahead of time so that when you brought them up, they were already rang up and all the cashier had to do was bag them and take your money. Frankly, none of them were in use. Seems a bit like a lot of wasted money if you ask me, but that's just my opinion The stores carry fashions (Not a lot but some) House wares, grilling things and of course groceries and liquor. Yes, unlike Florida, they actually sell liquor in their stores. I know other states sell hard liquor but we only sell beer and wine. (le sigh) I really enjoy shopping in the UK because their selections were so different than ours. Bacon over here is not like bacon over there, we have "Streaky bacon" they have Rashers (Thin ham like slices which are salty and delicious), their meats are different but tasty and their produce come in different names for the same veggies (courgettes are zucchini) I loved the "Foreign" foods selections, which was tiny, and filled with mostly American foods. And of course the WALL of beans. Frankly I wish we'd get a Tesco here, and keep it filled with the UK selections.

We did try another local place never to return . Whether you call in person or ask for a delivery the service and quality of food is always delicious, freshly made and piping hot. I had Chicken noodle soup yesterday I do not normally have a starter but yesterday felt the need and we had some teeny tiny tasty spring rolls super tasty. Their Chicken Satay on skewers is a favourite of mine served with lovely fresh peppers and onions and a lovely spicy satay sauce and fried rice and plain chow mein not all eaten by I might add. Located by the end of the first exit from the Clyde Tunnel in Whiteinch, Sesame is my go-to source for Chinese food (particularly if I'm feeling lazy or hungover!) It's quite a small unassuming shop, but has plenty of tasty treats to offer. It offers all of the standard options you'd expect from a Chinese take-away and from my experience so far does them all really well. I'm a huge fan of their chicken noodle soup, so deliciously salty and comforting, and the dainty spring rolls, nice and crisp, which both get ordered almost every time. Other regularly ordered items include chicken chow mein or fried rice, orange chicken and shredded chilli beef, all very tasty. Their satay sauce is also particularly good and if you're ordering the full dish you have the choice of the meat on skewers or already in the sauce (my preference is on skewers). Between myself, family and friends I'd say we've been through at least half of the menu by now and haven't had a bad dish yet. You can also order via Just Eat and delivery is available, perfect if you're feeling uber lazy. So if you're out to the West of the West End then I'd recommend giving Sesame a try!

As a vegan Papa John's have so many options for topping and with the garlic sauce you dont miss cheese at all! I would love if they were to introduce a vegan cheese someday though! A tip if you're looking for a sweet option is to order the cinnapie without the crumble topping and extra on the other toppings. The crumble is the only thing which prevents it being vegan so now everyone can have a dessert! The staff here are all above expectation. Very friendly, helpful and always wanting to help. For now there is a Tesco Metro at Glasgow Airport and it's wonderful. I mean, wonderful in the way that only a Tesco could be (which is pretty damn average, if I'm being honest). I actively avoid shopping at Tesco as I find the experience too depressing, but I can't hate this one as it is so damn convenient. I'm a pretty organised person, and I'd arranged for our groceries to be delivered by our preferred supermarket (not Tesco, that's for sure) when we got home from the airport. Downside being that the delivery slot was 11am - 1pm, and our flight got in around 5.30am. So in I popped to tiny Tesco, grabbed a few essentials and headed to the check out. This store doesn't exhibit the kind of Tesco efficiency you might be used to, and you'll probably have to self check-out. No big deal though, because soon you'll be in a taxi on your way home having spent £30 on potato scones, rolls and bacon and feeling well smug about your impending breakfast/brunch and lunch. Note: yes, the prices do seem steeper here than your average Tesco.

But Tesco prices were fabulous- to give you and idea, I bought: crisps 1 pound, oatcakes 1 pound 9p, and some buns at 1 pound 65p. My carrier bag was a pretty strong one and cost me another 10p. There's a 20% VAT which cost me a whopping 18 p. You can also use your clubcard and earn Tesco points at the airport Tesco. All in all, if you need something at the airport, start here.

Shanghai Delight serves up hundreds of Chinese takeaways every day and is always mobbed yet the food is always very good. I am not saying it is sit down city centre quality, but very few takeaways are. It is though very good at what it does do. Personal favourites are salt and chilli chips, salt and chilli chicken, chopped ribs in black bean sauce, beef Kung po, beef curry and chicken satay. None of these of course are advised as part of any healthy diet plan that I can imagine and are probably far from authentic. But they do taste very good. If you are up this way and fancy a Chinese feast then you should give this place a try.

One thing I did find, that seems to be universal is Elderberry syrup. Once I had my necessities, I popped over to the magazine area and found the coolest coloring book, Witches. But it's not typical, no big hooked noses and black hats. No these are more goth & Nordic images. They're cool. And of course I had to get twist up crayons, which they had a set for £10. I do believe you could find anything you needed in this storm they even carry lingerie.

I got the coronation chicken on bap bread the first day. FYI "bap" bread is just a soft white round roll. It's quite tasty, so much so that I got a sandwich the following day on it too. You can also get a sandwich on a baguette. The coronation chicken is pretty much curried chicken salad. It has raisins in it and lots of curry powder. Very good. The following day I got the smoked salmon and cream cheese and asked that they add cucumber. Cost £2.30. Holy ridiculous. $2.80 when converting. Even shitty cheap sandwich Subway is more expensive than that and it's shitty. Not sure how their prices are so low, but the smoked salmon was amazing and I felt like I spent pretty much nothing on lunch. Also get a flapjack. It's a brown sugar oat cake that is semi- healthy (oats) and super amazing (caramel).
