I was introduced to Black Pudding, an acquired taste for even the English- pigs blood and intestines mashed into a hockey puck. I have nothing to compare it to but a taste of it was good for me. It was crispy, soft like pudding and a bit sweet. I opted for the tuna panini which was terrific. I read it came with chips which I figured were fries but got actual potato chips which was fine I guess. Michael said his All Day Breakfast was spot on except for the sausage which he described as cheap or watery. The other lads said there's were fine and devoured it spite being hung over. Before breakfast I asked to walk past the gates to witness the sprawling fields. I was welcomed with a bit of apprehension and took a few photos as you may see. Apparently no one asks to go back into the farm. I breathed in the cool air and appreciated the beauty of the English horizon. I was met by the owner, Bill Williams, in a tractor who stopped me to have a bit of a chat. He is a funny man when he said the view was "alright" and there wasn't much to see. I learned the farm was 400 acres and how he had a kick travelling the California coast line several years ago. When I return to Chester I will be sure to come back and eat here and say hello.

Indira and I have been traveling the UK, now staying with a friend in Wrea Green for a few days, and decided to get a snack down the road at the Dizzy Duck. Definitely recommend! Indira and I both ordered what they call a potato jacket. The name fits very well since it is a potato cut in half and stuffed full of whichever items you choose (like the items are wearing a jacket!) The prices here are very fair, about 6 pounds for a very filling lunch. My potato jacket was stuffed with bacon, mushrooms and thyme. Not the shitty processed American bacon either, but the thick local, fresh from the butcher bacon they serve here in England. Indira's on the other hand was covered in cheese and beans, and looked just as delicious! The potatoes also come with cole slow and a salad. Along with excellent food, the service was great. You can see the entire kitchen when you enter the restaurant, and the staff is very friendly and right there to help. Although we didn't eat any, the variety of cakes was extensive and looked wonderful. This tea room is also right next to the lovely park in the area so you can go relax after getting filled up.

I really enjoyed mine. The line up was scrambled egg (you get to choose you egg type), sausage, bacon, black pud, beans, tomato, mushrooms, hash brown and toast. My toast could have been more toasted (it was still pretty much bread) but everyone else's looked good so I think it was a blip. I had a latte too which was good. It's waitress service to order but they were not in any rush to come over so if you are hungry I'd suggest heading up to the counter.

The food is healthy, local and delicious. I had the haloumi salad with bulgur, and the latte I ordered was delicious too. The cakes looked amazing, but I was too full to try them. The atmosphere was great, with locals doing some arts projects in the corner and beautiful photos of climbs on the wall.
