The market had six or seven vendors, with local veggies, local sprouts and local brownies! Everyone was super nice and welcoming and the prices were very fair. I bought some sweet Vidalia onions, local zucchini and local yellow squash plus some spicy radish sprouts. All are very delicious. We cut up the squash and microwaved it in the hotel with sea salt, black pepper and olive oil. Simple but very yummy! The sprouts are just amazing as they are! I will eat more on my sandwich tomorrow! Life is good with a small, local, friendly farmer's market! I gave it four stars because it's small but to be fair, it's in a small but growing town! Let's support them in the future!

Open Sunday, 10am-2pm, it is very welcoming with plenty of well-marked parking, friendly vendors, overhead cover, space to enjoy and clean bathrooms! I met an incredible local wagyu beef farmer named Doug, an amazing vegan pastry vendor named Brie, a pork farming couple and more including an awesome homemade fruit jam vendor and a sourdough baker! As is consistently the case in this area, everyone is polite, respectful, friendly and gracious. It was great fun to learn about these amazing, delicious, healthy local products! It's even more fun to enjoy them! Nothing artificial here! Just pure, healthy, delicious food provided by passionate people. Plus, it's actually good for us! Perhaps, it's to keep everything fresh... Otherwise, this is a very nice Indian grocery store that offers beautiful fresh produce, authentic Indian food brands and a good variety of products. I could just go down every aisle and fill up a basket...easily! If I were a student, this would be one of my favorite spots to pick up pre-packaged Indian entrees and prepared meals. It's a tad bit on the pricier side, but there's a great variety and most of the staples are imported from the East. They even carry Satya Sai Baba Nag Champa incense and body products here among other wonderful home & personal care items. I love that they offer spices in smaller packages for around $1 each just in case you don't need pounds of cardamom. However, they do offer bulkier amounts of all essential spices for Indian cuisine. A few of the items you will find here are cardamom (fresh and green!), cumin, clove, cassia bark and cinnamon, coriander, nutmeg, mustard seeds, fenugreek, turmeric, garam masala, and a plethora of curries! Omg! And the RICE! They have a great selection of big bags of basmatis! My favorite part of the store is they have ready-to-eat spicy samosas and kachori. They were huge and only $1.25 each. You could reheat them in the microwave they provided in-store or save them to take home and either crisp them back up in the oven or refry. They are not made locally. The samosas did not come with any type of sauce and I was told that I would have to buy some if I wanted it, but either way - I would come back here for those again. They were really yummy! The greatest discoveries for me were the boxes of Girnar Instant Cardamom Chai Milk Tea and the Girnar Instant Masala Chai Milk Tea. Each box contains 10 sachets to make yourself a delightful beverage at home by just adding hot water. This milk tea was also offered hot, pre-made in-store, but you're going to pay $1.99 for a tiny little cup. Just buy the box of 10 ($5.99 each). There are more flavors...

I loved coming here and exploring all the different Indian goodies. They have great prices on Indian spices and other Indian commodities. I bought honeycomb, aloe juice, chocolate barfi, paneer, and Indian cream cheese. Everything wzs delish. The cashier was an extremely sweet man!! I had trouble with my card working and he did it for me ahaha. He was so sweet. It was just my girl friend and I late at night and he made us feel so comfortable by asking if we needed anything else and helping us. Very nice establishment !!

While on our annual trip to the Chiefland area, we got word that Quincey was opening a new location…read morenear town during our visit. We stopped by a few days after they opened to check out the new space and selection of offerings. Our visit was mid-afternoon on a Tuesday in July, and it was busy but not too crowded. There is a private parking lot, and it was no problem getting a spot and entering the business. It is located right off the main drag, and is relatively easy to get in and out of. The building is nice and new, and there was plenty to look at and see once inside. On the left upon entering is the cashier/order counter for the restaurant portion. They also have a drive-thru for ordering food as well. On the right side is the actual store. The staff were all very nice and friendly. Since I was unfamiliar with the brand not being from the area, they answered my questions and gave some good information on the business. It was interesting to learn that they will deliver and ship within most of the state of Florida! I enjoyed perusing the selection in the retail side - there was a ton of beef, both fresh and frozen, to purchase. In addition, there was produce, spices, and other smaller grocery items. They also sold various merchandise! They also had signage for how to purchase a portion of a cow from them, in various increments all the way up to an entire cow. This would be a great option for a family looking to stock up their freezer. Knowing a little bit about the area, it seems like this shop will do well, and is most definitely worth giving a visit. I heard great things about the burgers, and it seems like their meat is popular. Especially with the closing of Winn Dixie in Chiefland, this is a great place to get local, quality beef. I very much enjoyed visiting this newly-opened spot, and hope to be back to try some of the menu on my next visit to the area!
