However, we were walking from our motel one morning, searching desperately for any open place to get a vanilla flat white. Then, we stumbled on this little place, a coffee cart hidden inside a surf/yoga shop. The employees were really nice and the coffee was fantastic. It was one of the best I've had in a while, and unexpected from this unassuming little place. We would have come back every morning, but they were closed the next 2 mornings (and then we left New Plymouth). It's definitely worth finding this little place for a great takeaway coffee.
