I always enjoy a newsagent more when they have a small selection of groceries as it can save you a trip further afield and this place does just that. You can pop in here grab a paper and some general household goods and head home having avoided the hassle of a trip to Asda ect. The service here is good and it epitomises the idea of a friendly neighbourhood shop keeper and this is a breath of fresh air in an area which can at times be quite unfriendly. The value here is not bad either meaning that a trip will not leave you out of pocket by any stretch of the imagination. On the whole this place is friendly, convenient and good value which is everything you need to create a good local newsagent.

Another point that I would like to make in favour of this one is that there is a cash machine inside! In addition, they have a variety of Liverpool postcards and few items of memorabilia such as sketches of familiar faces all at reasonable prices. This is by far the tiniest newsagents I have been to but Aleef News is a smart and well presented shop where there is efficient service and hardly any queues. The only thing I would say, is that they don't have a lottery machine!
