Filling was only cabbage. 2. Vegetable Fried Rice - Rice undercooked. no seasoning. 3. Vegetables with Szcheuan sauce - Tangy instead of hot and vegetable again half cooked. Called them up to mention the issues with the order and was given a comment saying this is Chines food. It is supposed to be this way and we cook it this way only. One can order an 11" pizza for an average of only £4 or a Curry from anything as little as £3.50. What makes Angelo's Pizzeria stand out from other takeaways is it's Meal Deals and combination food options! The menu offers 9 very useful meal deals. Examples of which being donner kebab, chips and can of drink for only £3.49 (deal 4) and deal 7 which is superb for a group (I ordered on a girls night in!!) consisting of 6 pieces of southern fried chicken, 5 hot wings, 3 portions of friends and a large bottle pepsi for only £9.99 (cheaper than a bargain bucket at KFC!) Angelo always delivers on time and prices are very reasonable! The majority of times I have ordered an Angelo's takeaway it was 2am as it stays open later than most takeaways and will still serve me my Pizza during my drunken urges for something greasy, cheesy and quick!!! Hot Stuff is a bit of a mixed bag, and in my opinion, a bit of a pot luck kind of takeaway place…read more The pot luck element is of course with regard to their kebabs and other such items, I mean, if all you want is a portion of chips I really doubt you'll get a bad batch. As with many people, I'm sure, my sole usage of this establishment has been post-Cockpit. In this way it's always been a bit of a "I'm drunk and therefore want evil food" kind of relationship between Hot Stuff and I, and in that at least, I can say that they have been faithful, cheery and dutiful. I certainly couldn't advise eating there sober - but then I can't think of a kebab shop anywhere that I would choose to dine from, for say my working lunch. Sometimes the kebab has been magic, sometimes the kebab has been the opposite. This variable could of course be down to my alcohol consumption, I might add. Whilst it's not the nicest place to be after 2am, given all the drunken bloke-ness around here, the staff have always been pretty friendly. I don't know if I could be, working here and serving quite so many intoxicated muttonheads - so props to them! All in all, Hot Stuff serve a range of much demanded take away foods for the masses - most especially after a big night out on the town.

In short, it was a perfectly acceptable caffeine hit but nothing spectacular. The food fared a little better, and the pizza I had was tasty, generous and well priced, although my friend's burger warranted less glowing praise. Mezmez feels like it's trying hard to be a proper Italian establishment, but it commits the common crime of feeling like it has to offer other dishes too, and it's the inferior quality of these that lets the whole side down. That, and the coffee. A better choice than many of the cafes and takeaways in the area, but it will have to do better to compete with the mighty Box up the road.
