Went in with my fiance to get some suits for our wedding. The store was pretty busy and not enough staff to help. The girls that were there were pretty helpful but one of them gave us the wrong size shirt aaaaand we paid to get his pants hemmed and the seamstress did a horrible job. The measurements were way off, one of the leg was shorter than the other. Luckily, we know someone that knows about these things and she notice it right away. Another thing they don't tailor the jackets. So glad we got that tailored or else my husband would've been walking down the aisle with an oversize jacket. read more

The 2 females workers walk in at 10am looking like they rolled out of bed and kept their pajamas on. No good morning or any kind of greeting even after we said good morning to them. They were so unpleasant and unwelcoming we turned around and left. There is no way we were going to ask them for help when they seemed to not want to be there at all. Great selection. Best place to get suits at a reasonable price especially if you're on a low budget, but they have suits for every budget and every occasion from work wear to formal occasions. The reason I gave it a four star is because staff could be more helpful with pulling suits and accessories that go together. It helps when someone can put together an outfit. Yes, I know it's kind of like having your own personal dresser but this is the experience I've had before at other suit outlets. There's just so much selection that a person can get overwhelmed. I came to Fresno Suit Outlet with my Dad and Bro in law as my lovely father is renewing his vows to my fabulous. So for his perfect day we had to have him look stunning. It was weird seeing my Dad in a suit as he is more of a T-Shirt and Jeans guy so he did look different in a suit to me. Anyways, once we entered we were greeted by staff and the owner. Me having a bubbly personality that I have, was more excited than my Dad, the owner even pointed it out playfully. Of course I'm excited because in today's generations it is rare for parents to be married for so long and I am grateful that my parents are happily married, which is rare these days. Anyways, my dad and my bro in law never got fitted before and it was funny because every single man that came in...said the same exact thing "I am looking for a suit...never did this before and don't know where to start" which is great business for the own because he can solve such problems. The suits appeared to be in high quality and very organized. I loved the customer service and the owner was very involved in helping me style my dad. The deal for 3 suits for $299 fully loaded (tie, shirt, socks, hankie and belt) is a steal and you get $10 for tailoring which is not bad. Also if you don't need 2 additional suits you can use one as a gift certificate. At this point I wish I was a man as that is a great deal and you can come back anytime to use your certificate! They have funky shoes as you can see and a lot of "Empire" suits, my Dad pointed it out and I didn't even know he knew what "Empire" was. I had a lot of fun shopping here with my Dad and he left a happy camper. We had to order his shirts as his size was not in yet. Pricing was not as advertised. When the guys are saying" we have suits big and bigger", they might want to add that there is a different price point for those. I went in today with my daughter and a similar experience like another reviewer Joe C., in that the ladies didn't really want to assist us in spending $400 dollars on 3 suits. We were basically fending for ourselves with the one lady saying your suits are the ones between the white and white on this rack. After we browsed and tried on the 3 suits to purchase, we were hit with the different price point because of size. Great customer service! My son's wedding was 5 days away. My dress pants were a little tight and I wanted to get a bigger size for extra comfort. Unfortunately, they didn't have the right size but they offered to alter the waist for me. They got it done in 3 days. The job was done correctly and the didn't even wrinkle up my pants. $15 to alter dress pants in 3 days. That's hard to beat. They have suits for days and several racks of ties. Pretty large selection of suits, slacks, jackets, and shirts. Not a whole lot of shoe choices but not bad overall. The suit deals are spectacular and the alteration fees are less than most places I've checked with. They even have wedding package discounts. I definitely recommend checking them out, as you won't be disappointed. The only negative I can say is I've been here a few times and some employees are really helpful and a couple pretty much seem to ignore you. The deals themselves help me overlook it though. 12/30/2022 I thought that I would write you a little note on how our suit shopping experience went last night at your store. First let me start on why we went suit shopping. I was looking forward to take our son who lives in Cleveland, Ohio and who is visiting for a few weeks on vacation before he starts his new job, where he is required to wears suits into the office. I first thought of your business where I had previously purchased suits before and had a great experience, not so much this time. When my wife, son and myself walked into your store we were not greeted as I expected, we were greeted with a simple if you need anything just let us know. We basically had to fend for ourselves going through the suits. He never once got measured to find his size and nobody came to assist once during our search. The 2 women who were there last night, were not very much assistance. Although he did find 3 suits to his liking, he could tell that I for one was not happy with the non assistance we were offered, and he decided to not go forward with the purchase of them. I had 4 pants altered and one needed a button. When I picked them up it took them 15 minutes to find. They were all inside a trash bag not hanging up. These are suit pants not jeans. I had to steam them to get the wrinkles out. And then I noticed they didn't even sew a button back on. Terrible experience. read more

We were searching everywhere in Fresno for custom tailored suits for my wedding and couldn't find anywhere that had the look and style that would be acceptable to be used for a wedding. Then we found the Fresno Suit Outlet and all of that changed. They had everything we needed to fit me, the groom, my best man that is 6'4, (and the size of a linebacker), and everyone else in the wedding. The purchase included custom tailoring and fitting, all you need is your under garments and the rest is included in the purchase of the suit all the way down to the socks. The prices were so amazing that we even picked out specific suits for both fathers. They were even able to custom tailor to our dads 2 days before the wedding, since they were both coming in from out town, and they had them all done and ready in a bag for the wedding the day before the wedding. Why rent when you can buy for a third of the price and actually let them keep the suit as a gift for a friend or family member for being in your wedding. The staff and owners are so friendly and helpful and really are one of those local businesses that make Fresno such a wonderful place. Terrible customer service. The store was super unorganized. Prices were misleading. When I asked the girls who work there if I buy one do I still get the shirt, tie , belt and socks? She said yes. But when she rang it up she then told me all the extra stuff cost more money. The girls were not dressed very professional or classy. You'd think they would dress up to show they have good taste in clothes, to give confidence that they could help pick out nice suits. They didn't offer to help us pick out suits or anything. The young boys suits were not versatile. It was a get what you get and don't throw a fit situation. I asked if I could switch out the (ugly) tie, they said no. Very poor service and selection all around. We were going to buy three suits but reluctantly, only left with one. The 3 hour drive to Fresno from the central coast was in no way worth it! We will be going to Hollywood from now on to buy our suits the drive there has always been worth our while. I guess we should have not tried to fix something that wasn't broke! When I showed up with my group after driving 2 hours was told that whatever suit size we chose we were stuck with that size slacks when they ordered suit. So they expect my brother who wears a size 34 pants to wear a size 38. Why say u can accommodate when you can't. read more
