This was a project we were hoping to hold off on until a few months later, but ended up needing to be done sooner. Because of this, we were unable to be there in person to meet with contractors. I ended up calling 7 roofing companies to go out to the property and get quotes. Jett Gillis went out the next day and was able to get me a quote very quickly. Every other company I called either told me that they were too busy to give us a quote, completely failed showed up to the appointment, quoted us much higher, or gave me a bit of an unpleasant attitude. I even had to explain to one highly-rated company what a soffit was not once, not twice, but three times! (A soffit is the underside of the roof.) I needed a roof replacement for a roof that was 23 years old. A friend recommended Moreno's…read moreRoofing. They had done his roof about 3 years ago and he was very pleased with the job they done. Moreno's Roofings' quote was significantly lower than the other quote I got. Moreno's installs a complete roof system , ice & water shield, felt paper underlayment & starter strip shingles around perimeter off the roof. They use Certainteed-Landmark shingles with a 50 year warranty. The crew arrived on March 24, 2025 and removed the old shingles from the roof and installed the ice & water shield and felt paper and staged the shingles on top of the roof. They brought along a dumpster and discarded old shingles and other materials into it as they worked. The next day they nailed the new shingles into place and finished up the job. They cleaned all debris from my yard and also rolled the yard with a magnet to pick up all the nails. My experience with Moreno's roofing was very positive, the crew doing the work were friendly, professional & very thorough. I am extremely pleased with the results, the roof looks great.
