Our relationship is only about four months old but so far, she has been a joy to work with. Allow me to elaborate: 1. Our company is relatively new to the flooring industry in this area. I have been working very hard to develop a customer base. Just so you are aware, not all potential customers at properties are the nicest to "new" salesmen when we come around. Angel was very polite and professional. She was willing to give me a chance and see if I could create a relationship that was beneficial to the both of us. Nothing was guaranteed but I was granted a chance, and as a salesman, that's all I'm looking for. 2. I had a crew make a mistake on a job for Angel, inside a unit that was occupied by a single mother and her daughter. I won't go into great detail but essentially this woman had to go a couple days without the use of one of her bathtubs. Now, There was another fully-functional bathroom in the unit but that isn't the point. As a salesman and someone who's been in customer service for over 12 years, I know that you put the customer and their needs "first." Angel was an advocate for her tenant, while also being very professional and understanding with our company as we tried to remedy the problem. I appreciated the fact that she could have been much harsher but she wasn't. She had an expectation for us to fix the issue but was still understanding that things don't always go to plan. 3. Each time our company would do a job for Angel, she would reach out to me and discuss any questions that she had. What this did was allow me to learn what her expectations were, for the work that we were performing. This is important because a lot of property managers only worry about cost. While Angel was mindful of cost, she also had an eye for quality. Again, she made her expectation clear and was very professional and courteous in doing so. Trust me when I say, that this is the exception and not a rule during my time, in this business. It illustrates the fact that she doesn't forget that each unit that we install flooring in, was soon to be the new home of a new customer. It's nice to come across people that care about quality, as well as the bottom line. I look forward to working with Angel over the upcoming year and I trust that she will make Belle Forest @ Memorial in Clarksville, TN a wonderful place to live for all of her tenants.
