I didn't really think I would be writing a review for a hospital, but last night my little sister…read moreneeded emergency surgery for a cyst on her ovaries and they took such good care of her. I'm used to having to wait like 14 hours to get hospital care but they actually transported her from the U of A specifically to get her in faster. We were done the surgery in about 2 hours, it was amazing. She felt as though she got great care while she was there. She's never even had blood taken let alone a surgery before, so thankfully the staff were very comforting and supportive throughout the process. I don't think anyone really ever wants to get an emergency phone call that their family member is going into surgery immediately, so thankfully it was relatively easy and they gave us access to her. It was all kind of a shock so the fact that they let like six of her family members wait it out in the waiting room in the dead of night was really comforting. It was especially comforting for my Mom that we could all be there because she is in Calgary and couldn't come right away. They told us that they weren't very busy either. So I would actually recommend people coming here during an emergency. I've waited full days at the U of A/Grey Nuns before, so this was definitely a new experience to be in and out so quickly. Apparently newly renovated, waiting area is big and comfortable. Ive seen some reviews about wait…read moretimes, I've had no issues. I was taken in about 5 minutes before my appointment time even though the waiting room was packed. I did spend about 25 minutes past my appointment time alone in the exam room, however the doctor came in apologizing profusely saying she had to spend a little extra time comforting her last patient, totally understandable. I've recently started seeing Dr. Mcevoy (spelling?) and she is absolutely wonderful. She's caring and listens and explains and thinks out loud as to what her thoughts are and courses of action - "hmm, we could try this, what are your thoughts?" and so on. She even sat there and googled images and explained about my neck issues and how muscles and discs lead to pain, pointing out where my issues were. The reception can be a little blunt at times and I was given the wrong date for my last appointment and missed it. Lesson learned, phone a couple days beforehand to make sure. Other then that, a stellar clinic.

This was helpful for my driver who had 'known' without looking at the provided address where I needed to be. Thank got for cell phones and the instruction that told me to arrive 15 minutes early. I was able to get my driver out of the McDonald's drive-through, and arrive at the right time. My experience was overall pretty comfortable. They warm the gel used for the ultra sound in a kind of bottle warmer! So much nicer. The only thing that made me pause was that the staff mostly don't wear masks anymore. They say they will don a mask on request. I think that they should instead, follow the lead of the patient and wear a mask if the patient wears one. Anyway, other than that, my experience overall was very good.

The ultrasound side is a little busier right at opening hours but the other side is great The triage nurse was also lovely and cheerful greeting everyone and doing temperature check & sani before reaching reception. I always have a time trying to figure out how the scrubs gown works though lol...

Dr. M is a brilliant man who is an excellent doctor with a knack for knowing exactly what's wrong…read morewith you in the first 30 seconds. While highly intuitive and observing, he won't jump to conclusions before he's gotten the necessary x-rays or MRIs to be absolutely sure. But his initial diagnosis has always been spot on. He's a friendly doc who, unlike many docs, isn't rushing in and out of rooms. He takes time to talk with you. He's older, so he went to med school about 40 years ago but keeps up on all the recent research. When you come into his office, he is usually at his desk doing some reading of the latest medical journals. It's probably why he has so many patients and can't accept new patients. Also if he knows you don't have a medical plan he's very generous with samples from pharmaceutical companies.

As we live in an age where it is becoming very difficult to find a good doctor, I find this place…read morerefreshing. It's not usually too long of a wait, about 20-30 mins. And the doctors here are very caring. They don't rush you in and out. They really care about the patients. Dr Klajn is great, as well as doctors Chiu and Hum. There is also a pharmacy right next door in cad you need to get a prescription filled.
