I have mixed feelings about FDSC and this rating is more associated with the insensitive and unprofessional treatment by Sarah and the deceptive Bait And Switch tactic used to get patients in the door. I found that the office is responsive when the call has to do with scheduling or anything revenue related. However, it seems once you're scheduled or billed, it's hard to get a response. Ana is very pleasant and Dr. Park has great chairside manners. He is very patient and thorough in explaining what to expect....One reason I chose FDSC, though, was because they offered a "free" consultation which turned out Not to be free. I was told it was free on the phone when I scheduled my appointment. When I arrived, I confirmed this again by asking directly and specifically if the consultation was free and I was told yes. So I proceeded and was seen by Dr. Park who took an x-ray of the one tooth in question. He then showed me on the x-ray where my tooth infection was and explained thoroughly from the x-ray how each of my options would be performed (retreatment of the root canal or oral surgery). I was fearful of having surgery but agreed to move forward. After that, Ana enters the room with a plan which included a mandatory $230 3D scan. It was explained to me that this scan was necessary and that they could not give me a cost estimate until the 3D scan was done which could reveal more detail or issues about the tooth and infection area that might pose a problem and effect the cost. So I had to pay $230 for them to tell me how much my service would be. With much hesitation, I paid the $230 and the 3D scan was taken. I was sent back to the chair where I waited to see this 3D scan and hear the Dr.'s further, in-depth explanation of what this scan discovered. Well, Dr. Park returned to the room and pulled up the same x-ray from earlier and proceeded to explain the same thing he explained from that x-ray earlier. I asked if he was going to pull up the 3D scan and he replied that the scan program was too large and would take too long to load on the monitor in that room. Hun!!! An expensive outfit like FDSC has a network that can't network. So I wasn't shown the 3D scan nor given any justification for it. At the end of the day, I walked out paying for 2 x-rays, a $230 3D scan and my insurance company was billed for a "comprehensive" exam and visit. Which the insurance only covers one per year. Mind you, the exam consisted of the Dr. pulling my lip out once to physically see the area. He stood the whole time. I wouldn't call that a "comprehensive" exam. Not Free!!! Needless to say I couldn't sleep that night agonizing over that expensive 3D scan so the next morning I went to their office and insisted on seeing this expensive 3D scan which they reluctantly showed me and which really didn't show anything more than the x-ray did. Yes it was a different visual - 3 dimensional view, but I was given no more detail than the same explanation as from the x-ray. I've had to stay with FDSC naturally after putting $230 in. I was scheduled for surgery on February 28, 2022, but when I arrived it turns out they were prepared to do a root canal retreatment. The insurance company denied the surgery. I must say it was a pleasant visit that day because Sarah was not in the office and Dr. Park did a good job and it took just under an hour. I had a flare up shortly after leaving but I learned that is common sometimes and I followed my after care instructions and was better after a few days. Thanks to Dr. Park, the crown remained in tack so I didn't have to have another crown. My dentist was able to replace the temporary filling with a permanent filling. I hope one day doctor and dentist practices will realize that their front office is their business' first impression. No matter how good the Dr. or DDS is, patients will go elsewhere, and gladly pay more, to receive friendly customer service, truthful transparent service, and fair prices. That's a sure recipe for repeat business and referrals. I have another root canal that needs retreatment and would have no problem seeing Dr. Park again, but there's such a bad taste in my mouth because of everything else. We'll see. read more

BE CAREFUL please don't go there ,If they don't give prices or estimates over the phone, so why did they give it to me? that's weird I think that was used to get people to show up to that office to rob them so I'm NOT trust this place so please BE CARFUL. read more

I'm writing this second review because I want everyone to know how great this place is, I am having gum surgery and have to return once a Month for each side But the Staff at This place really needs to be recognized for the great Customer Service. But I really want to talk about the Specialist Tina Sun D.D.S. she is so Good, she makes you feel so relaxed and Comfortable. I went home and I have no pain I still haven't taken any Pain meds. I was referred by smile select to get my teeth looked into and it was a waste of 60 bucks .. the dentist was Jamie Tran I believe and I'm sorry my teeth aren't perfect you can here her huffing and puffing trying just get me out of her office . I guess I could have just used the yelp check in if it was even told but clearly they don't care. My main problem was I have issues with some crowns and the dental office wanted her to evaluate but clearly she said I can't see it after the crown was put on so I don't even understand what the whole point was of even coming here. My appointment was at four and I wasn't checked in until 5pm and I wasn't able to pick up my daughter in time even though front desk was nice enough to try to get me in ASAP so I can leave but even with the front desk I wasn't even out in time . I tried to explain why I was coming into the office and she was just in a really ugly mood . She told me to come back if I get my crowns replaced but she had argued that there's no point in replacing the crowns because it would cause more problems. She also said "if your pain level and sensitivity is only 3-8 seconds that's nothing" my problem is that it hurts, again a reason why smile select even referred me to this office, I wouldn't even need to see this specialist if I wasn't having a problem with my crowns just for her to throw me attitude, tell me she can't do anything . Yes great another dentist just billing the insurance and collecting whatever they want to bill. Thursday evening one of the staff was able to talk to me and apologize about the visit and she was able to schedule me with another provider. Office staff here is nice and caring. read more

I was here for a root canal 3 years ago. I was very satisfied then and now I was referred here again. This time I was seen by Dr. Jaime Tran. She did a great job! She made me feel comfortable and very reassuring. I came in nervous but as she was doing the procedure. I can tell she is a good dentist and kudos to her assistant as well. They both made me feel comfortable. I hope for my next root canal I will be referred here again. Not that I want to have a root canal done again :) read more

I would like to share that I had a root canal done yesterday 01/25/2018, and have to say that I was impressed by Dr. Daniel Kim, who did my Root Canal. I had throbbing pain and it's still sore but the pain has stopped. I never had a root canal done and hope to never have one again. I was a little suprised that I was asked to pay for the services in full after I had the service done. I guess, every office is different. Now I have to go back to the dentist to get a cap to finish off the job! read more

This endodontist is very impersonal, actually kind of rude. He never explained what he did during the root canal or if it was successful or not, he just left the room and went to his office & shut the door. I later found out that what he did messed up my chances of getting a new crown. So I have to get the tooth pulled and have an implant put in. I would not recommend this dentist. read more

Make sure you do not go to this office. First of all I had to be seen twice for the same issue, don't worry they were more than happy to charge the insurance twice. My first bill they didn't charge my secondary insurance claiming I never gave it to them when it as clearly on my intake forms. Fast forward 6 months and I receive a past due bill which I contacted my 2nd insurance about and was told that they are a contracted facility and had already been paid more than the contracted amount by my primary insurance so my financial responsibility is $0. I called the office and was told they would return my call which they didn't so I called back. She told me that because my secondary insurance didn't pay them anything I still owed the bill. I tried to explain the contracted amount and she said that they would only honor that if I maxed out my benefits with my primary. So, basically they will not honor a contracted amount because they want more money. I paid the unethical billing so as to protect my credit. DO NOT go to this location or allow your dentist to refer you to this subpar scam of a business. read more

Still no word back on my "investigation" from them when they drilled the wrong tooth causing me to lose a permanent tooth and get a temporary bridge. Do not use this office. Totally dishonest and no character. They would get a zero if possible. read more

Watch out for these guys. They don't back up their work. I had a procedure done and a few months later the problem returned. I went back to them and they said that they would take care of the problem for free and without having to go through my insurance, but since there was an infection they couldn't do anything that day. So I had to schedule another appointment. Then about a week later they said that I had to get authorization from my insurance. Really? After a week I called again, I was told that they were waiting on the approval from my insurance. Two weeks later they called me and said that my insurance denied me and there was nothing I could do. So, now I guess that means I have to suffer with a infection in my jaw that was caused by their procedure that was not done right the first time. read more

I love Dr Bae!! If you have issues with going to or trusting the dentist go to Dr. Bae. She will completely change your perspective. She has patience and is very warm. She spent so much time with me and considered different variables. She will not rip you off and is completely honest.
