DO NOT GO. Just submitted a complaint to Division of Consumer Affairs on MANAGER Taylor F who is completely unprofessional and rude and RECEPTIONIST "Jade" seen in picture "circled" who was absolutely disgusting and rude and Dr (ROSE) who ultimately went along with their rude behavior and did not provide any care to my 84 year old mother. And I will be contacting the owners and reporting these people for violating HIPAA by refusing care and treating myself and my mother in a humiliating manner. We rushed there because it was the closest urgent care to us and they say they close at 9 online. My mother was experiencing coldness in her left leg which was disturbing since she has had a minor stroke twice before and has high blood pressure and A-fib. We arrive at about 8:25. The door was open and unlocked and as soon as we walked in I said hello, "receptionist JADE" stared at me and said "HELLO WERE NOT TAKING ANY PATIENTS" all in one dry sentence. Immediately I was put off because as a professional in "healthcare" the first thing you should do is show empathy and concern and ask what the issue is that brought us there and first see how you can nicely address it even if you really could not take the patient. But there was nothing going on there, no one inside, and no sign anywhere that says they stop taking patients at 8:25. When I stated this, I was met with the nastiest attitude and I asked for a manager and when the manager was called, I heard her loudly suck her teeth and huff and puff taking a loud sigh and then begrudgingly coming out of her office. She repeated "they are not taking anyone because they close at 9" with a nasty attitude and then began to say that the website is not updated and it's this information. No kidding. I told her I don't appreciate the poor greeting and if it's not 9pm they should see my mother because there is no sign that says they stop taking patients before 9. She then told me to leave and they are not taking any patients and continues to repeat that and repeatedly says "bye" you can leave. Then the Dr rose came out of her office and had a nicer demeanor than the two unprofessionals I was dealing with and when she was going to attempt to see my mother - JADE then walked away and said "I'm not checking her in". Thats when I got even more upset and let her know I hear her and ultimately Dr Rose was unable to do much because JADE refused to do her job. All of this was about two unprofessionals who JUST WANTED TO GO HOME. They didn't care about the patient at all and were upset that I challenged their unprofessional behavior and in turn began to say very disrespectful and rude things to me that people in a healthcare setting just don't say. Just two nasty rude people. My mother ended up going to AM/PM urgent care and was treated seriously and nicely and after their review of her called an ambulance to the ER. Like I told the unprofessionals, if your policy truly is to not take patients after 8:25pm, then there should be a sign on the door and the doors should be locked. There were no patients inside. I will never go back there to deal with those disgusting people. Rose (seen at door) she was nice but she did not stand up for what she saw was being done wrong by the two ridiculous manager and receptionist who both went back and forth in the most nasty "street like" manner with me. read more

Back in May I had an excellent experience at Friendly Urgent Care (see my previous review), so, at my daughter's prodding, I went back yesterday to address a lingering cough, fever, etc. The care I received yesterday was exemplary--as my daughter agrees, better than we receive at our respective GPs' and specialists' offices. In addition to various tests, they gave me Tylenol for my temperature, and when my blood oxygen remained stubbornly low, administered an oxygen/albuterol mist (I'm asthmatic) that provided relief. Physician Assistant Lydia was wonderfully attentive, patient, personable, and professional throughout. She prescribed three medications that were ready for pick-up at CVS and began providing very quickly. PA Lydia's colleagues Alyssa and (sorry, I didn't ask for her name) were also excellent. Given that this care was provided by different people than the previously praised Dr. Shua, I can assume now that neither visit was just a positive fluke. Rather, it's part of the culture that Friendly Urgent Care is building. This and my previous review stand in stark contrast to some of the negative reviews also posted here. Maybe Friendly Urgent Care has just gotten better over time--I don't know. In any case, based upon my daughter's and my great experiences, Friendly will be our go-to place for urgent care. read more

I'm writing this review so that the owners read this and fix these issues because I have a feeling they have no clue what's going on. 1) NOBODY ever answers the phone. I'm outside right now and the phone is clearly ringing and the nurses are chitchatting. No care for the integrity of this business. 2) Clinic is supposed to open at 8:00. We are all outside standing in the freezing cold while the nurses are inside. Side note. The doctor just walked in. 3) I have an 8:00 appointment, they are letting anyone in with no priority to appointments. What's the point of making an appointment then? We all have schedules and they need to respect our time. It's 8:30 and I'm still outside in line. 4) Nurse comes out and I tell her I'm in line and have an appointment, she totally ignores me. Don't think because you open a clinic people will come! Respect your clients! Hope you make changes soon, because the way this business is being run, is super unethical! Friendly Urgent Care - Line outside with nobody inside. - Urgent Care Near Me - Teaneck, New Jersey

So my husband and I needed to get COVID tests as we found out my dad got it and I'm 6 months pregnant. I called ahead and they said they had the rapid and PCR test and to come on in, no problem. We got there and the waiting room was PACKED, no social distancing being observed so I sent my husband in to sign us in and I waited outside. After about 30 minutes I saw a lot of people leaving the clinic so I figured it was safe to not wait in the lobby and be social distanced. The receptionist kept saying we would be seen right away but it took another 90 minutes before we were seen. During this 90 minutes I hear the receptionist tell one guy that after waiting an hour, looks like they don't take his insurance after all and they would have been able to run it in their system but it's been down all day. Poor guy had to leave with his 2 kids late in the day in hopes of finding another clinic before they closed. Another group of teens showed up and apparently were told (even though they were minors) that an adult did not have to be present to get a COVID test, waited over an hour and when was finally called, told that no you actually did need a parent or guardian (everyone knows that) by the receptionist who told them the opposite an hour earlier. The kid got upset, called his dad and HANDED HER THE PHONE AND SHE TOOK IT! In a clinic, she took a germ covered phone, what the heck what she thinking! So after watching this clinic's incompetence for 90 minutes my husband and I were like should we leave? But it was too late, it was late in the afternoon and we were worried wouldn't find another testing site so we sat tight. They FINALLY called our names but then the receptionist told the nurse to take some other guy who came an hour after us- why, I don't know. But I'm sitting there clearly pregnant, a high risk person to catch COVID stuck in your cesspool of a lobby and you put ANOTHER person ahead of us. The one group of people who were nice enough to not bother you during what was clearly a hectic time. We will NEVER go back there again and I hope after reading this you will not enter their facilities either. read more

I arrived at the Teaneck location for a rapid Covid-19 and PPD (Tuberculosis) tests. Upon my arrival I did a quick registration via their device, and completed the full registration with Alissa. She was most helpful and cordial during this process. While waiting I got so thirsty Alissa and Michelle offered me a bottle of water, very considerate of them. Michelle called me in to exam room 6, she was amiable and kind, she took my vitals and explained the procedure and which doctor would be seeing me. Dr. Angela Musheyev was my attending physician. Lots of folks I've spoken in regards of shoving a Q-tip swab up one's nose for Covid-19 testing, have told me is a bit painful and extremely uncomfortable. Well allow me to iterate that Dr. Musheyev was very gentle and professional, I hardly felt any discomfort at all. This Friendly Urgent Care clinic is one of the top and best I've ever visited, thanks to its fantastic team. Kudos! read more

Waste of money!!! Never going back again. I spent $120 plus the prescribed medication which was $40 and did not help at all. I'm furious that I spent that much just for a visit . Dr. Zohra doesn't know what she's doing. She should not work as a doctor. I called them on the phone the next day and I spoke to another doctor and he said that the prescribed medication is not going to work but then why did Dr. Zohra prescribe it if it's not going to work? If I could give this place negative stars I would. First of all place has trash all over the floor in waiting room but that's not even the issue. The issue is the PA walked in, said what do you want. After telling him the symptoms- stood there quiet. Didn't say anything. Basically had to diagnose myself. Then before walks out goes yeah maybe bronchitis or pneumonia!! Like ummmm is that a joke? THANKS buddy---Didn't even come close to near me. Then as he was going to walk out said ummm can you check my throat or listen to me breathe?? Put that stethoscope to use??? Literally the WORST. I came to an empty waiting room. The PA took ages to see me . I saw him sitting in his office not doing much and when I poked my head out the door he quickly came to see me like he was caught off guard. Then he took a very long time- like 15 minutes -to write a prescription. By that time another patient was waiting for him. I shudder to think what would happen if the waiting room was full? I expect more as a consumer - I feel the days of making patients wait to show them your importance are over. Have some compassion for patients who are not there out of choice but out of need. Their time is important too. Of course they want to be seen to so they can go home and rest. If this happens again I would consider taking my business elsewhere. It's a pity because in the past I found this place efficient, caring and professional. read more

I arrived at the Teaneck facility to check in for a COVID test. I was told there is a one hour and 15 minute wait. I was advised to go home and wait for a text to come within 15 minutes. I left and was able to track my progress in line from the email that I was sent by Friendly Urgent Care. I arrived an hour and 20 minutes later when there was only 1 person in front of me. I was told I could not come since the waiting room was extremely packed. It took another 20-25 minutes for me to become the first person in line. I received a text to come inside. Once I came inside, there were only 2 other people there. Even though I was next - both on the app which showed my place in line and per office notification, it took another 55 minutes for me to be called into the room! After I was called into the room, it took another 15 minutes for me to see someone. Once I received my test from the nurse, the PA came in 10 minutes later. She asked if I was here for a COVID test. I told her I already got one and I am waiting to leave. After she checked my breathing, she said I can leave and will get my results upfront. I do not understand how the PA and the nurse did not communicate to each other what their patients have and have not received. I am extremely angry that it took 3 hours to get a COVID test! How can someone be next in line yet it still takes over an hour to actually be seen???? This is place is terrible with time management and accepting patients to cut the line. read more

I come here because it's close to home, and once in the treatment room, the staff is friendly. But all interaction prior to treatment is abysmal. Front desk staff is condescending and rude. And it makes you want to turn around and leave every time. read more

I booked an appointment online. If you go to their webpage that is what jumps out at you "Book Online" in a dark blue box (2 places on the page) I booked for Sat. Morning, 9:00 am. entering my personal contact information and medical issue. I showed up and they were closed. A little makeshift sign said that they are not open on the weekends during August. There are lots of good doctors who are poor at running a business but for me, it is a red flag. read more

Avoid this place!!! Understaffed!!! I called this place and asked if there was a long line. I was told there is 1 person on line. I came within 5 minutes and there were 5 patients waiting in the waiting room. The person who came right after me asked how long the wait is and was told 20-30 min. We waited an hour in the waiting room. Once we came to the room, the nurse took the vitals and said the doctor/PA was going to be there shortly. He said it will take about 15 minutes. We waited over 30 minutes and finally were seen. He came for 20 seconds!!!!! and sent over for an X-ray. The place is completely understaffed, Unprofessional and does not understand patient needs. Patients can be seen at the same time since they have difference needs! An X-ray can be done same time as another procedure since they require different rooms and different staff members to help. They are efficient, caring and helpful. I went in feeling really lousy with a sinus infection and a bad chest cold and severely anxious because I was due to travel in a few days. Utilized the online portal to sign up for the ADVERTISED rapid dovid test. Got to the place 10 minutes prior to appointment. Was asked to fill out registration forms, told them I already completed it online. Office Clerical staff tells me no problem have a seat. Checked the online portal to see I was 3rd in line. Waited for an additional 20 minutes only to see my name disappear from the waiting list, upon questioning the front desk staff after 40 minutes I was told I needed to fill out the paperwork at the desk. Simple rule of thumb for a medical office, if the clerical staff in the front doesn't know their heads from their tails, rest assured the medical care you receive will be either par or worse. read more

It's a pleasure to have received treatment in such a clean facility. The staff here makes me feel so comfortable and I am usually am in and out of the urgent care within 10 minutes. Dr. Arshad was very understanding and patient; he took his time to listen to me and thus provided excellent health. Moving forward, this urgent care is hands down my no.1 choice.
