I always choose to do that! For the price, the food is decent. They have options for meat, fish and vegetrian meals. The menu changes daily and you can find the rotating 5-weeks plan on their web page. I would probably not find myself here if I didn't see their sign in front of metro Mont-Royal and if I didn't live 100 m away, but I think coming here for lunch every now and then is the best way to show support. When I really don't feel like cooking lunch, and also don't feel like spending much more on a restaurant I come here. Yes, most of the people here are probably homeless, but this place give them a sense of normality, a place they can go to and get a nutritious and affordable meal (it's probably cheaper than cooking yourself!), be with other people, and just feel integrated instead of excluded. They also provide cooking training to disadvantaged people in order to integrate them into a skilled profession. I highly support this cause and urge you to become supporters as well!

I brought it here and they said they could fix it two different ways, one that would take a week and the other that would be ready the next day. I chose the next day option, but it turns out they fixed it the longer (and better) way anyway! How amazing! I can't thank them enough for the quick and professional fix. We communicated through Whatsapp so they could text me when it was ready. Pickup was quick & easy! My bag is even better than when I bought it new and this repair looks like it will probably last at least a decade more of abuse Excellent. Definitely worth the price for me (23$), given the turnaround time and the quality of the repair. The shop was easy to find, everyone was friendly and willing to work with me, even tho I didn't speak any French. Very kind of them!

I love the staff and mission of the Old Brewery Mission. They address chronic homelessness both for…read moremen and women, provide a 24/7 emergency response hotline and (during non-pandemic times) serve community building suppers and do loads more, but most admirably in my view is that their focus is on ending chronic homelessness. They help people rebuild their lives, and they emphasize access to permanent homes rather than temporary shelters. Respect for the people they serve is paramount. They also put a major emphasis on research and they are in the best possible position to bring insights from the realities of homelessness into meaningful policy and effective social change. Right now they are gathering donations of protective equipment for their frontlines workers and financial donations to support people working in the face of this overwhelming crisis. These are real actual hidden heroes in our town and deserving of all our love and support.

Not a good experience neither is the drink I had which was hibiscus and it lacked any flavor or sugar. The taste of the drink is bitter to say the least. Overall, it was a very bad experience and I have to tell the server's sister on what had happened. The excuse the server guy came out was... In France, they accept all credit cards. Right... And I am born in Mars. I don't recommend this place when they think it is okay to cheat money out of you while they claim they are a coop. I support many coop businesses and there is a difference between being honest and being a crook.
