Very well kept local game store with a nice selection. Friendly owners and knowledgeable people make this a good store to go to if you're in Amsterdam. Not the best place for Magic the Gathering or Pokemon, but they do keep current things in stock at reasonable prices. Like most places today, they just don't have a lot in, but hard to fault them with the current CCG craze. The only thing is they didn't have a play space for gaming. SELECTION: Overall, really good. Nice stable selection of popular board games and high quality board games the average person doesn't know about but should. They did have MTG Final Fantasy at a reasonable if slightly inflated price, but worth buying if you didn't have it already. No collector boosters, but they might have just sold out like so many stores do. SERVICE: Friendly, respectful, nice, and helpful. Really what more could you want? Plus, they were genuinely nice people. COST: Pretty reasonable. Everything was in line or better with what you can get from the US. read more

So many different games, from puzzles, and cards to elaborately illustrated boxed sets are gathered here -- only a few I've heard of -- the majority are new to me. A shop to buy and play games. Love the concept. What i like: - friendly staff - you can try games in the shop - loads of choice ...however some games are sold out pretty quickly. On friday eve at 19pm you can join others to play game in store. Fine if you arrive alone or with others. Let the games begin! read more

Terrible customer service. Went there for the first time because a friend invited me for board games. On seeing my friends, I was like "Hi!". When the owner saw that we knew each other, he started saying some things in Dutch in an angry manner which got me confused. Someone then explained what he was saying, that only a maximum of 5 players are allowed per table. First of all this was my first time, so obviously I didn't know anything about the rules. Secondly, he could have easily told us the same thing in a warm, friendly manner and we would understand. Rather he kept saying "if you don't like it, you can leave", and so I left. read more
