I booked a studio session for some professional head shots, and there was really not one single photo that she sent me in proofs that I did not absolutely love. (Usually when I get head shots done, I end up weeding out a lot of pictures that really are not appropriate or that I don't like, but these were all absolutely fantastic.) She mixed some very classic poses in with more artistic avant-garde poses and styles- and they all worked wonderfully. Michelle asked me some insightful questions prior to my session that helped us plan out our hour together. Let's face it, studio session head shots are not inexpensive, but these are the best I have ever had taken. There were so many good ones to choose from, that this photo session will last me for years. She has a great eye and I cannot recommend her highly enough. Worth every cent and more.

Having just moved to Belleville, I wasn't sure about which photographer to contact, being as I am only familiar with St. Louis wedding photographers and such. I could not have made a better decision! The shots turned out perfect--we were able to capture the "holiday" warm, fuzzy feel--even though it was nearly 60 degrees that day! Michelle managed to make us look plenty cold. Her props were great, and she had many ideas that I hadn't even considered. We have a 7-year old girl, and Michelle knew just the way to get a genuine smile out of her--not that fake smile kids serve up in these situations. Photos turned out brighter and better than the others, and I'm not sure how he gets such great shots but I wasn't ever let down! I always had the photos in hand less than a few days later in easy file formats. No strings photographer willing to shoot weddings, kids photos, events, and pretty much whatever you need. Also she's a lot of fun, which helped to set us at ease since neither of us is very comfortable in front of a camera.
