To sum it up: better spend your money elsewhere…read more This place was recommended to me by one of my colleagues (when you move, especially to a foreign country, finding a good hairdresser is almost as difficult as finding a good dentist). Given the price, I had pretty high expectations. I've been there three times so far, with each following experience being worse than the previous one - so I will definitely be not returning. What was wrong? - This place treats its interns (Azubis?) without any respect. Senior hairdressers are bossing sour-faced interns around ("Bring coffee!"/"Clean the floor!"/"Wash the hair of my client!). - The hairdressers themselves are mostly uninterested in their clients; loudly gossiping with each other above the sound of hairdryers. - The incompetence of some hairdressers on the team is astounding. During my last appointment, I was "awarded" 10 min of Lena's time, during which she was supposed to cut my layered, curly hair. Bye bye layers - Lena just cut all my hair to the same length in about 3 minutes, and left me in the hands of a trainee on her first day for the blow-dry, while she went back to dealing with another client. This kind of double-booking is unacceptable for a saloon that charges €40 for a haircut. The poor trainee had to figure out how to blow-dry curly hair on the go and almost broke my neck in the process - aparently, Oliver's technique for this involves the client standing (!) most of the time, with their neck bent in awkward positions and painfully close to a burning-hot diffuser. I have had curly hair for most of my life and gotten haircuts in five different countries in Western Europe - in no other place have I had to stand! On that very same disastrous visit, a sulking intern was supposed to bring me coffee - which I got after my "haircut" was done, and was urged to take my time finishing it amid the chopped-off remnants of my curls...yum. This place is also very stingy on the hair products; they don't use anything that gives hold, and definitely no finishing products - end result, style collapses shortly after leaving the salon. Once I decided to ask them to blow-dry my hair straight for a change; they spent 30 min burning my hair with a straightener, instead of simply using a round brush during the blow-dry.
