Similar to what a previous reviewer commented, I also received one of the best haircuts I have ever gotten. Everyone at ticro is super polite and friendly, unlike some hip salons I've visited in the past. The stylists are incredibly patient, and truly take the time to understand what kind of cut you are asking for and to deliver the hair of your dreams. With one minor trim, my ticro cut looked amazing for 6 months. Ticro is so underhyped. I want to move back to Berlin just so I can be closer to ticro again.

When I got home, I noticed that the volume of the left and right hair was different. Of course, she just cut my hair and she did not further with my hair on the left. I am thinking to request the hair cut charge or to cut to the end. In the case I will request it not the hairstylist, probably the chief hairstylist, because I am very angry about her. She has known by herself, that she did not done her job to the end, just quit it because her favorite customer did come into the hair cut salon.

I walked in, waited a few minutes and then was escorted to his chair. From the moment the haircut started to the moment it ended he paid a little attention to me and was chatting with people who had come in from off the street. He kept turning around talking with these guys, paying little attention to me and my haircut. In fact the time he talked with them was longer than my cut. I had told him that I wanted the back to be left alone and long. Well of course it wasn't. It was all cut off... months of hair growth were now on the floor next to guys he had been speaking to the whole time. I felt like I was interrupting their conversations and unfortunately then fell victim to his complete disregard for me as his client. I didn't say anything I even tipped him. I walked out and I thought I would never go back there again. And sadly at the very beginning of the haircut I said how excited I was to be in his chair. But when the owner of the shop ignores you and not only ignores you but continually has side conversations throughout your entire haircut...clearly you are not important. I have never felt so disrespected and ignored in a hair salon....never.

I'd make an appointment but they don't answer the phone. I would come here if you had a lot of free time but if you have a job that keeps you at work until 6, it's almost impossible to get a cut. And you have to be early on Saturday. That's not very fair for working people. If they're not interested in taking money, that's cool. There's plenty of good barbers in the area who are open until 8:00 on weekdays.

We've been to another spot a couple times, but I sort of feel like €15 for a 10-minute dry cut for a three-year-old kid is a bit much. Here at Bärenschnitt, it's €7 for the haircut, and the name is cute, so I figured why not try it out? When we arrived, our hair stylist was waiting and ready to go (in the past, we've shown up for our appointments elsewhere and had to wait 5-10 minutes). It's a small unassuming shop with room for a few people to get their hair done, but we were the only ones. She was friendly and did a good job, and it's the first time my son didn't need to be distracted while getting his hair cut. At the end, she offered him a piece of chocolate (and asked me first if it was OK, which I really appreciated), and he talked about that chocolate all day long. I'm happy with the service here and would be happy to take him here again.

Availability is also on "non-traditional" days and times, e.g. late, on weekends or Mondays. You can tell that Demot has a lot of experience and good feel for his clients. Works perfectly for me.

The first time was for a cut and bronde highlights. I'm a dark brown naturally, and she did an AMAZING job making me look like I had just been on a nice long vacation in the sun. The second time I went was just for a cut and she did a beautiful job taking me from hair down to my lower back to a medium just past shoulder length! Most of the people who come in are regulars and they know everyone by name, I think that says something! :)

Note that a plain haircut is under €20 but they will often provide services without notifying you that they are extra (hair wash, head massage, etc.) so I usually end up paying 22-26. The hair wash is thorough and while they let the shampoo sink in, they will offer you something to drink like tea or coffee, a nice touch. After, they will talk with you (in German) about how you want your hair. Both times they were good about replicating a hairstyle from a picture, once a picture of myself and once a picture from an album of hairstyles. As for the salon itself, it's humble (but not old or dirty), but they get the job done well and usually has a some chill electronic playing softly in the background. They take reservations and that would be advisable. Once I came and they said they'd be with me soon and to just take a seat. I ended up waiting almost 40 minutes.

She has brought my hair back to health (it was quite damaged by the lack of care at the previously mentioned salon) and, most importantly, I HAVE BEAUTIFUL BLONDE highlights again!!!! Diana is very professional, friendly and is a great listener to my needs; she is also confident with her profession and can tell me when she disagrees with my perceived wants/needs. I ALWAYS leave her salon with beautifully styled hair and a bounce in my step, I feel THAT good when I leave! Diana is amazing.
