Really bummed to be leaving this review since I have come to Frogg a lot over the years, and I don't take bad reviews lightly! Anyway, the last time we went this month, I was disappointed. I tried to order my favorite garden veggie and egg crepe and they wouldn't serve it to me even though it was 12:10, I guess they changed the menu since before, because apparently you have to order that before noon now...because I used to be able to order breakfast crepes all day. Other than that there were hardly any other vegetarian options without ordering a sweet crepe, which I didn't want. So I just decided not to get one. We just ordered one crepe and two coffees. Then we were served a crepe with moldy cheese. We reported the cheese in case they were still serving from that batch and the staff was nice enough that we got that crepe refunded but then my cold brew coffee was not that great either. So I wish we just gone to eat somewhere else. I'm not sure what happened because this crepery used to be so good and one of my favorite places. It's self-seating here--you choose your own table, and they bring the food out to you based on the number they provide at checkout. We ordered the Italian crepe, a Yin Yang latte (white chocolate and mocha), and a vanilla latte, both with almond milk. To our surprise, the crepe was served first. While it looked appealing, it was a bit dry and could have benefited from a sauce for added flavor. It came with a choice of fresh fruit or chips; we opted for the Miss Vickie's Sea Salt chips. The drinks arrived shortly after. The iced vanilla latte and hot Yin Yang latte were both delicious. The espresso had a floral note, which added a unique and pleasant flavor. Prime location for parents who have small kiddos wanting to run around at a shaded mini park and open lawn. While we haven't tried any of the food here, the iced oat milk lattes are always decent. They receive a ton of foot traffic simply for where they're located within Watters Creek shopping center. The interior decor is adorable. Cottage vibes with barstools for people watching and tables for when dining in. The patio is large and spills into the open lawn. Only thing I'd change is the customer service. I'm sure the staff is just exhausted from the hustle and bustle but I don't really ever feel greeted when arriving. More of just a "get to it" gesture. Call me old fashioned. A darling coffee house and crepe spot in Watters Creek. Just discovered this place by accident, as I had a hair appt in this center and had some time to kill. I ordered a Peppermint Mocha and a blueberry scone. Both were delicious! The young man at the counter was very sweet and friendly, and answered my questions with a smile. The energetic and friendly manager talked me into the chicken pesto crepe and it was very, very tasty (great recommendation). Also, their strawberry lemonade was yummy. Frogg is always a fun visit. The staff are incredibly friendly and answer your menu questions! I enjoy the fact that they have such a large balcony. I've only rated it 3 stars for 2 reasons. One, the savory crepes are super dry. I think more sauce or cheese should be added. (I've tried 2 different savory crepes and they have both been dry.) Sweet crepes are fine. Second, the layout of the inside is challenging during the weekends (and it gets super, super crazy loud). I've been on both weekdays and weekends and notice that sometimes solo customers will take up whole tables with a laptop whereas families who want to eat can't even get a table. It is so incredibly awkward to uphold this, but I do think management may need to consider implementing a policy limiting laptop usage on weekends. Or adding a heater on the outdoor patio for cold days! I do enjoy the communal atmosphere Frogg offers, though. I also enjoy the unique menu and love that my gluten free friends can enjoy gluten free crepes! As a matcha lover, I think their matcha is pretty good. I prefer unsweetened (Frogg offers sweetened and unsweetened matcha) when I go. read more

This place has been my favorite little spot away from all the various modern and new cafes in DFW. It's an intimate, rustic, old-timey, and cozy little cafe where the crepes are just amazing (and great coffee too). Whoever makes the crepe batter knows what they're doing, my biggest complaint here is choosing WHICH crepe to get because all their flavors are so good, especially their strawberry cheesecake crepe and chocolate Nutella. You can tell they use fresh ingredients and match the flavors to the authenticity of the vibe of the place as well (Parisian / French inspired for sure). They even have savory crepes. I meet my friend for coffee here a few times a month. It's a great location with outdoor seating in the morning shade - once the weather cools off, arrive early as the patio are will fill up. The inside is rather small be prepared to wait if you come during the busy time mid-morning. There isn't a loud music, which makes it perfect for conversation. I prefer their hot drinks but they'll make most drinks iced if you ask. My favorite go-to order is the lavender love latte and a nothing but Nutella crepe. My friend usually gets a chai tea latte and a lemon and blueberry crepe. Only thing that could make it better is silverware rather than plastic utensils and more umbrellas for shade outside. read more

Wow, this place is amazing. First of all the Waters Creek area is incredibly well lighted between Christmas and New Year's end. Frogg has got the best combination of lighting posters and lay out. First time here. Walked in, lots of people, many still had their order numbers on their table , so we were unsure if the wait would be long, but they were surprisingly quick! Turns out they just leave the order numbers at your table, even after they bring your food. They made a custom order for a person in our person who has Autism! This is always a yes for five stars in my opinion. He wanted everything separate and not touching. They were 100% amazing and accommodating . I got the BLT& Egg sandwich. Sooo good. Went in on a Sunday afternoon hankering for a pastry. I asked the cashier what one of the cupcakes were and she said it was a cinnamon roll cupcake. I asked if it had nuts and she said she didn't know. I asked her to please ask someone bc I have nut allergies. She said hold on and went to the back. I am so surprised this place has anything less than 4.5 stars. It's obviously a locally owned store with freshly made food, and as such, I can imagine that sometimes they get behind. It's not like they're microwaving frozen eggs or pastries like at Starbucks. I am sorry that I didn't take pictures of our food and drinks, but Le Tadpole (scrambled eggs, bacon, fruit and home fries) was perfect. It was s at least 3 perfectly cooked eggs, I think 3 slices of bacon, and fresh-sliced strawberries, blueberries, and blackberries. Good sized portion even for a man. My husband had the strawberry shortcake crepes, which were amazing. The homemade whipped cream was even cheesecake flavored. I had my latte unflavored (stupid diet), but it was still very good. And they do the designs in their coffee, which I think is a thing of legends, not real people. I've tried. It's magic. If I'm being honest, judging by the negative reviews, it was probably entitled, snotty people with unrealistic expectations. I am 100% certain I was given regular milk due to the horrific events that took place in my bathroom last night. Thanks for that.
