Prices are reasonable, the soft cheese needs to be consumed at home by the locals or in a hotel room. The harder cheeses they vacuum pack and you can bring it to the US. Since we had an Air BnB we decided to stock up on essentials during our stay in Annecy (five months…read morelater and I miss Annecy dreadfully!). What is more essential than Cheese?! We grabbed some lovely Roquefort and another (I can't remember the name of it, but it was very nutty and delicious!) and then stopped next door for fresh baguette. We also found a yogurt that we had fallen in love with at a nearby bakery - Cremerie du Lac sells it! They are in glass jars in the refrigerated shelves in front of the cheese display. We loved all of them - vanilla, strawberry, raspberry, blueberry. My only wish is that we could somehow get those yogurts here in the US. They are amazing!
