This is a busy, bustling restaurant pub on the outskirts of Frome, that covers the restaurant for the Premier Inn.
You HAVE to book a table, even in the quiet seasons, as I've found out and been told many times.
Its more of an eatery than a place to drink, although there are some areas you can just sit and drink.
If you register with Table Table, you will get lots of free offers and vouchers, which makes it even more inviting to visit.
My partner and I use to visit the place quite alot, until the mouthy front of house manager turned up and demanded we booked a table TWICE in two weeks. She even use to frighten the staff she worked with! I wasn't impressed. Thankfully she has gone and the restaurant runs alot quieter and friendlier.
There is a good selection of foods on offer, and they change the menu twice a year, as well the price goes up too! But all in all, you get a reasonable service, drinks do take a while to arrive. I would expect these to be there within 5 mins, it can take up to 20 mins for them to arrive for 2 people! Food is alot faster, and the beef sirloin steaks are worth all that you pay for them, they melt in your mouth with hardly any wastage.
Just a word of warning, although the food is good. It is made from packs that are already bagged and ready to be microwaved, this is the way Table Table work. Nothing is freshly made from scratch!
Even though, I have found the food to be of good consistency. Service is good, we only get asked once if everything is to our liking. And you can add online on the Table Table website if you thought your waiter/tress was good or not.
All in all, book a table, eat before 5.30 to get the cheaper deals.
And the place is child friendly. read more
