She is also in tune with the horses, and will not risk a horse or a rider's safety. Barns are barns and horses are horses. With barns comes dirt, but Fox Chase overall is very clean most of the time. Horses are well cared for, and a number of the families who board there allow the use of their horses for lessons and HorsePower Therapeutic Riding. Most of the people there are down to earth, horse loving individuals. I'm not interested in a perfect barn, shiny stalls and halls, and people who think they are too perfect to help people new to horses. This is a riding stable, not an event stable.

They do not invest in their facility and it shows. Bad roof leaks. Questionable electric. A bathroom that never worked in the 2+ years we were there. They do have a year round porta john. Promises to create an outdoor arena that never happened while we were there. They had some great lesson horses but they were overworked. Anyone who raised concerns about this was immediately shut down. The horses very, very rarely went outside. They're either in the arena or in stalls. I once heard the owner say "our horses don't like to be outside." Huh?? I saw a stall in back the size of a dog kennel that a medium sized pony lived in for months. They openly bad-mouth people (kids!) who leave the barn. I watched several families leave and soon figured out why. It's just not a good environment or well-run business. You can find a much better place to spend your money and time.

I was put on safe, level appropriate (and extremely nice!) horses and I have never been remotely uncomfortable. I take 2 lessons a week and they have done a wonderful job of getting me back in riding shape both physically and mentally. I learn something new each time, and am progressing faster than I imagined/expected thanks to their careful and extremely knowledgeable instruction. My daughter was riding twice a week and loving the barn, new friends and the two ponies she was riding. The trainer started pressuring me right away to lease a horse and I wasn't interested until she had at least six months of lessons. They bought in a pony and wanted me to see it...it was really old and overweight...I really couldn't believe it!!! They asked me for THIRTY FIVE THOUSAND DOLLARS a year to lease this horrible looking pony....I actually did laugh as it was so ridiculous...A half lease anywhere costs 250.00 a month at ANY barn. I have been an equestrian for thirty years...they just didn't know it. We arrived at our next lesson and a seventeen hand horse that was way to advanced for a beginner was given to my daughter...I questioned what was going on and was coldly told that the ponies would not be available any further to us as we did not want to lease!!!! My daughter was in the very small arena and they bought in an out of control horse that was bucking and rearing to lunge...with my nine year old in the ring just ten feet away....I entered quickly and took my daughter down and left Kinvarra for good. It was the most dangerous , negligent ...on purpose bunch of crap I have ever seen at a barn. These people are con artists and if they don't get what they want they will put your child in danger.

The hard part was teaching me, lol, but she has such a good way of explaining the methods, that it was much easier than I thought. Thank you, June and staff!! I have also watched June teach riding lessons (and then took some myself from her) and she is so patient and knowledgeable. She has also rehabilitated 2 horses for me that were in a lot of pain from old injuries. They are SO HAPPY!!! I'm so grateful that we found June and Castle Ridge Keep.

They allow bullies to stay on the Women's Volleyball league and A-level competitive players to play against less-experienced players (B/BB, C, D-levels) in 1 co-rec league. It causes alot of court/game problems regarding positions and cohesiveness to play together safely. I was on the Winter/January 2024 VB league and experienced negative incidents from female players. As a long-standing BB/B level VB player, I bring my positive attitude in playing with teams and mates but many players don't share the same standards. I was born legally 65% deaf and my disability often confuses people since I can't engage in normal conversation, often mistakenly read as being anti-social. Everyone in leagues I play on are alerted about my hearing disability. 1/29/2024: teammate Donna (same team Spike-N-Spice, captain Brandy Valentine) cowardly pushed/jabbed my back from behind during a game. I was caught off-guard considering she and I have never had problems, but I sensed anomisity from her the beginning. No avail as to why. Recollecting myself, I ignored her cowardly aggresssiveness and continued playing with proper sportmanship. She never explained to me why she pushed me nor did I ask her and I couldn't trust her anymore. Captain Brandy chose to not act upon this assault, and I took myself off the team. I emailed Dundee Township managment providing full incident details. Tammy Greco, Superintendent of Rec, contacted me back only saying general words of "Thank you for sharing your feelings, it's been addressed." There were no resolutions given to me as to the outcome of Donna's bad behavior. This incident wasn't based on "feelings", it was based on a physical assault per videotapes. Since the township choose to not act, I don't feel safe to continue coming here, assured that behavior like this won't be allowed.

The trainer, Randy was very knowledgeable, thorough in his explanations, friendly, gave his full focus and attention to my lesson and pushed me to be the best. I liked how he taught me new ways of riding by using my body and legs. Randy's teaching techniques are unique! They work to better you as a rider and strength your legs. The place is clean and well kept. The horses are healthy and beautiful. The only thing I would like to see change about this place is providing better English Saddles. I felt the saddle I rode on was a bit old looking. Also, the road NEEDS to be paved from the entrance to the barn. A big facility like that should look good from exterior to interior. Clients look for a well kept facility and it says a lot about how it's ran!
