I attempted to purchase a carport from the owner, Ray Thatcher. He took my deposit, never delivered my carport, avoided my calls, kept his place of business locked up with no signs to explain why or when he would reopen, then finally after more than 3 months after I placed my deposit, he sent me a text message saying it's not his fault I didn't get my carport and that he will not refund my deposit. That is my definition of a crook. After I posted my experience on Facebook, I was told of many more experiences like mine, and a lot worse, about Ray Thatcher's dishonest business practices. It seems he is in the practice of taking people's money and not delivering, then refusing to return the money. read more
