Dr. Svetlana Yakov helped me when no one else could…read more I've suffered from depression, anxiety, and complex PTSD for as long as I can remember, due to childhood trauma and narcissistic abuse. Sadness has been my constant companion. Over the past 20 years, I've tried various prescription medications, only to experience unpleasant side effects and no long-lasting relief. My most recent bout of depression was so severe that it affected my body physically--something I'd never experienced before. The pain--emotional, physical, and psychological--was so intense that life didn't seem worth living. I just wanted the pain to stop. Researching Ketamine's positive effects on treatment-resistant depression gave me the spark of hope I'd been looking for. I hoped that this alternative option could finally help me escape from my prison of suffering. Finding Dr. Yakov has been one of my life's biggest blessings. She is extremely intelligent, kind, compassionate, empathetic, and understanding. For the first time in my life, I have felt truly cared for by a healthcare professional. She is a gift to the community of Billings, Montana. It has been six weeks since my first Spravato (esketamine) treatment, and I am a different woman than the one who began this journey. This treatment has given me the ability to see my life's circumstances from a different perspective, helping me let go of what no longer serves me and detach from what has kept me stuck in the cycle of depression for years. My experience has been nothing short of incredible! Recently, I felt genuine happiness for the first time in years. I feel hope and have dreams for my future again. My hobbies and interests are beginning to light me up once more, and I no longer feel unsafe in the world. My experience has been literally life-changing, if not life-saving. I owe my recovery from severe depression to Dr. Yakov and her genuine desire to help people like me who are (or were) suffering. I cannot recommend her more highly. Life is worth living. There is help out there. Give yourself the gift of healing and call her today.
