The guys that did the actual work are amazing and super nice, punctual, and overall great guys. The management side is trash. The guy that started my quote failed to communicate and follow up for scheduling services I paid half down for. And even then failed to initiate 2 other windows he quoted me for. If it wasn't for Casey taking over, I would have asked for my money back. Overall it took from the beginning of April until the end of September to complete the work (2 window repairs and one door installation). By the end I was having to call every week to ask when they were going to be able to complete the unfinished job from 3 weeks prior. The guys were nice but I will never recommend them for residential work, nor will I ever look to them for services ever again. read more

So many reasons to NOT do business with Frontline Glass that I could write a novel, but I would physically get worn out by typing, and you would probably lapse into a state of comatose trying to read it all, so I have decided to not put my fellow consumer through that hell, instead, let me summarize: * Communication sucks! I was told several different things by several different Frontline associates on several different occasions. Nothing lined up. * Unprofessional organization from the very top to the bottom. * Customer support is non-existent. * Demand money for a job that is not completed and add late charges. By the way, what window company would replace glass on a window that can not open, close or be locked? Frontline Glass is who. Disgusted in East Helena....... Btw, check out the other yelp reviews. Do yourself a favor and avoid this place at all costs!!we needed 2 windows springs replaced on a modern home in town. It took months for them to come, they ordered the wrong spring and did significant damage to the wall and paint. They have sent out 2 new people who still can't replace this spring. As I type this the spring has not been replaced and we first had the estimate over a year ago ans we have not been reimbursed for the damage.the worst customer experience I have had in 30 years! read more

Working with these people was a disappointment. Everything in the show room went well. Knowledgeable sales people. But when it came time for the install, it was an absolute disaster. We had two energy efficient windows installed. On the outside they butchered my redwood siding creating $1350 in damage. On the inside, I could see daylight through the finished trim. That meant they put no insulation around the windows. I had to take all the trim down on the inside, pack it with insulation, and reinstalled all the trim. On the outside, I asked them to pay for the siding repair and they refused. We ended up splitting that cost. We will find someone else to put in windows in the future. Never again. read more

I gave them exact measurements and a drawing showing what I needed. They still cut the glass the wrong size! Not once or twice but 3 times. The last time the pieces finally fit but they used the wrong thickness. I asked for 3/16 and got 1/4 inch instead. I got a new terrarium and the top isn't the same as the old one so I took the top to frontline to get 2 new pieces cut. They cut these pieces wrong too. I bet I've spent $10 in gas running back and forth. On the positive side they were nice about doing it again but this is getting old. Time to find a different company. read more

No stars would be more like it! We ordered a piece of glass cut to put in my china cabinet. After a couple of weeks we picked it up and it was cut 2" smaller than needed. Had them cut another one and it was a hair or two too big. Recommended we shave it down with a sander! If we had wanted to do the work ourselves, we would have. Now after spending $$$ for a piece of glass that we can not use, we have to go elsewhere and have another piece made!! I DO NOT recommend this place at all!!!! read more

This is the absolute WORST experience we have had with a local business! Do not order or have your windows installed by Frontline Glass! We ordered our windows 10/29/19 and scheduled installation on 12-6-19. On that morning they called to report the windows didn't come in. My husband had taken a vacation day to be there; we had moved furniture, taken down blinds and curtains, etc in preparation. We rescheduled 12-11-19. This was another failed attempt. We had hoped to have this done before Christmas but rescheduled AGAIN on 01-11-20. Meanwhile we had to move furniture back, hang blinds and curtains, etc. Then, we had to do all this all over again and on 1-11-20, they actually showed up with some of our windows. This is when things got even worse. During the next several months, it was one mistake after another; Frontline did not bring any converings for the floor or carpets and we asked them to provide coverings so they left and returned with some plastic but did not cover our maple floors or carpet; wrong trim on the exterior windows which they had to take off and replace; had to reorder correct hardware; one inch gaps around some of the interior windows and when asked to do the caulking the employee said, 'We don't do caulking'; left gouges in the sheetrock around two windows; etc. One mishap after another. We had to make continuous calls to the main office and owner and eventually after about 6 weeks these things were addressed and finished, including the caulking. We were so anxious to be done with Frontline, my husband decided to put on the replaced hardware and the lock on the sliding door. They quoted us $76.00 to install the lock so my husband ordered the lock from Burdick's, had it keyed and installed for $20.00 ! Frontline glass loves to make the sale in the showroom but forget about any customer service or professional workmanship during installation. This is only a brief example of things gone wrong and believe me, we could write a book about the terrible experience we had with Frontline Glass. read more

Had estimate for two large living room windows. Waited 6 wks. One window okay but they lost it's screens so we can't open it yet. The other window was cut 2 inches short all the way around. Have to reorder that window - another 6 wks wait. Then I was told me that there would be an extra charge to provide the missing screens. I said I would not pay as the windows came with screens. They finally agreed to provide them at no charge. (We figure they just lost them and were trying to get us to pay for their carelessness.) Correctly sized window and screens due 2nd week in June. We're anxious to see what transpires but not expecting it to be a great experience. At least we have still have half of the total estimated cost that they will get when we are 100% satisfied. read more

We wanted to replace 4 windows in white vinyl to match windows previously replaced in our home that were purchased from Frontline Glass. Fred came out to measure windows and we told him we wanted the same Jeldwen windows we previously installed. Instead, he ordered another brand. It took quite some time to schedule measurements, then installation. After the installer started the project and cuts holes in the house, we realized they ordered a different brand of window. It is a Cascade window. The latches are different and the windows are very inferior! 3 of the 4 are defective. One slips down after opening, another has a difficult latch and a 3rd has a loud spring sound when closing. When we called to describe the problems, they said, "well you should have checked the windows on the truck". They will not come back out to inspect the windows for another 3 weeks. Wrong windows, poor quality windows, poor service. Sadly, we cannot recommend them. read more

If I could do NO stars I would. Last year I needed to replace two dozen small (less than 1' square) plexi panes. They told me they could use scraps and it would be inexpensive. Turns out their prices were more than double what I could have cut to size for me right next door at Rock Hand Hardware. Plus it took almost 3 weeks to get a quote from them and Rock Hand quoted me a price in 2 minutes and had the pieces cut in less than an hour for me. Now, this year I asked for a quote for a basic screen replacement and common window hardware replacement and they couldn't even give me a ballpark idea of the cost. I'm sure Rock Hand Hardware will be glad to help me again!!!! read more

no refund policy even when they cut crooked. i had a piece cut and it was crooked and had score marks on both sides and had to figure out another solution on site so it was of no use to me. the "manager" on duty was totally rude and unapologetic about my inconvenience. I highly recommend you take your business to somewhere that will provide you with better service and better products. read more
