I was told this firm works with clients nationally. However, had to pay close to $400 just to schedule a consultation, even though most bankruptcy lawyers consult for free. I was contacted by a certain Daniel Staeven, who instead directed me to a local lawyer. I feel like I am owned a refund of my consultation fee. read more

The worst tax attorney firm, big turnover, no follow through. They bill, bill, bill and get no results. At the beginning of February I asked that they work on Offer and Compromise with the IRS and only that. I was billed $8,000 between February and March and they had not even started the Offer and Compromise. I asked for an accounting of that billing so I would know what the work was that generated the billing since I had asked only for Offer and Comprimise, I recevied a supewrvisor over the phone who blew up over the request, she was nasty and out of line. That is an acceptable request, the firm did not seem to think so. Don't waste your money or time with this firm. They run around in circles and get nowhere with accomplishing the work that was asked of them. The IRS not only froze my accounts but also garnished those accounts while I was represented by this firm. Horrible. I reached out to Glen Frost over this and he did not even have the professional wherewithall to reply. Needless to say they were fired! read more

At the recommendation of peers in FL, I contacted Frost Law about a complicated tax matter involving interstate corporate tax with the state of Flori-DUH. I run a small business with a dozen employees. The nazi inspired FL Department of Revenue regime claimed we owed a ridiculous amount in FL corporate income tax - more than EBay paid in FL income tax. And then just took it from our bank account by levy. It seemed like a lost cause with zero recourse, we were stone walled by the community college magnum cum laudes helming the FL DOR. Had a quick consultation with nick berger and he gave me his honest and thorough advice. Basically, I moved to texas and have no intention on returning to virginia. I own nothing in virginia. He recommends me to go ahead and file and pay my virginia state income tax for 2021. If I don't pay then: 1) they might file a lien but my amount is so low less than $2000 that it is unlikely. Frost helped me with a tax matter. They did a good job, but then the attorney I was using left the firm. I was assigned a new attorney who constantly overbilled me. Long after the matter was closed they were copied on an IRS letter to me just summarizing a refund I was due. They billed me $152 just to read and scan the letter. I then realized I hadn't terminated the POA so I did that but still find it hard to believe they could bill that much to read a quick letter that had nothing to do with the help I needed from them. read more

I retained this firm 2 years ago for $1500 retainer. I was told they could definitely help with my tax case. From that point on, the nightmare began. My case fell by the wayside as their staff continuously quit, I went through 3 laywers and 5 admins. They lost my paperwork nonstop and I continued to upload and resend. The 3rd lawyer finally filed paperwork on my behalf before SHE quit. I then got a call today (approx 8 months later) to tell me a 4th lawyer is assigned, they did a bunch of work for free and I need to sign another engagement letter and pay them $3,000. This place is a joke and completely unprofessional. The turnover in their office makes it impossible to get your case the proper attention. Do yourself a favor and use a smaller local tax attorney in your area. read more

We were not happy with this tax law firm to help us with a business IIRS issue. After blowing through our $2500 initial retainer fee in a week, I began receiving weekly invoices for more $$. Paid them another $20k over next 4 months, but our iIRS issue spun in circles. Nothing ever resolved. We just replied to their requests to resend initial docs over & over. We terminated our contract and hired another tax law firm. A year later, a gentleman knocked on out door one evening, served us with lawsuit from Frost Assoc Annap office, suing us for an additional $9,000 they claimed they spent after our contract ended. Luckily, AACo courts dismissed the suit after Covid started. We had buyers remorse with this firms Annap location. read more
