Well lighted, nice music, great menu, friendly service. The beer menu is amazing, as is the wine. The food is just what you would expect from a Belgian menu. I can't express enough how good this dinner was. So fun and affordable. We spent 60 euro each (with tip) for dinner, a started and two local belgian beers. It was really nice how the snow was falling outside too, made it extra cozy, sitting in the warm interior looking at the church across the street. Make sure you arrive hungry....the portions are huge. Save room for desert!

Sucks that you couldn't offset price to use bathroom against the food costs, unlike some other roadside stops. I just got coffee (2 euros) and a bag of chips, but there was lots of variety of proper hot food (omelet, sandwich, soup). The seating inside was nice and the out door seating area would probably be full during summer but was deserted when we visited in Nov. Oh, there isn't any gas available here, but that would be a nice addition.

For the meal, we had a piece of meat for 2 at 70 euros, the meat of which was tough. As nobody welcomed me I tried to open conversation in my best French and asked whether the bar was open. One guy at the table answered sincerely : "do you see the sign on the door that says "open"?". I replied I noticed it with a short "Oui". The guy irritatedly replied: The sign says open, so it is open (repeating the last word open in French again the way I asked it initially).
