Cute stop in La Jolla to get juice, coffee, or healthy breakfast/lunch items. For my first round, I ordered beet juice and a medium hot Mexican decaf coffee. It was a nice ambiance to sit and enjoy your juice and coffee. We ordered quite a bit of items as we were waiting for another member of our party to meet us here. The bathroom is beautifully and nicely decorated but they are super strict about using the bathroom even if you are a customer as they had a bathroom (there is a key you have to ask for) "wanted bandit sign"apparently for vandalizing it....which I understand however When another member of our party came, we went inside and the line was so long we decided to use the bathroom before ordering more, we were in there less than 5 minutes and the owner/manager knocked and knocked, I came out and apologized and asked if she knocked. She did apologize but said other people are waiting. I ordered another juice and was going to order sandwiches and acai bowls but felt like we probably were at cafe more than an hour and out stayed our stay. I understand as a business you have to be strict about the bathroom and that is their policy however if it is a juice/coffee place your customers are bound to use the restroom several times especially if they are continuing to order. Unfortunately, It did turn me away to try the food which I actually was looking forward to as they did offer organic croissant sandwiches. We decided to just choose another place to order food. I'll have to think about returning as we are always in La Jolla for yoga. read more

I came here craving a nice, refreshing smoothie on a hot summer day. The cafe is cute and the flavors, but only one of our drinks was cold, which was super odd since both drinks were under the same section of the menu! The Green Mango power smoothie tasted really fresh, but came out room temperature. I totally get that the fruit and greens might be fresh, never frozen (great in theory). However, I would at least expect the homemade mango juice to be chilled and/or ice to be added to make the drink a little cool at $10. We still LOVED the energy booster. It leans heavier on peanut butter flavor than chocolate or espresso, but it's fantastic, filling, and, of course, refreshing thanks to the ~chilled~ almond milk. Love the quality overall, even though it might not be my go-to when the heat is killer! read more

I visited this shop around 10:30 a.m. and ended up waiting approximately 25-30 minutes for my order. If the restaurant had been busy, I would have completely understood the delay; however, there were very few customers at the time. What was especially frustrating was that a customer who ordered after me, with a much larger order, received their food before I did, even though I had only ordered three items. After waiting for some time, we politely asked about our order and were told that it would be "coming right up." Despite that, we waited another 10 minutes without receiving our food. At that point, we went back to the counter and requested a refund, as we no longer wished to continue waiting. The interaction that followed was disappointing. The cashier told us not to be angry, even though we had remained calm and respectful throughout the situation. After processing the refund, she followed us outside and encouraged us to take the food because they did not want it to go to waste. She then told us to "be more patient next time" in what came across as a rude and dismissive tone. To make matters worse, the grilled cheese sandwich still was not ready, despite the 25-30 minute wait. Unfortunately, based on both the service and the way the situation was handled, I will not be returning and would not recommend this establishment to others. read more

My daughter was craving a slushie so we came here to order one. There were two young female workers. One of the girl was taking the order and the order girl was putting labels on the paper bowls. After taking my order two other people came and ordered. It took a while for our order to be fulfilled because the other girl just continued putting label on the paper bowls while the other girl who was taking order starts to count coins. The one counting coins started to ask the labeled girl to fulfilled our order. Unsure why the service was so slow and they really care about customers. The place was not even busy. There were two workers and only two orders? Terrible experiences and will not be back since there are so many places in La Jolla. Apparently bad service is very common if you read the previous review. I wish I read the reviews instead of just walking in. Service was trash. read more

I really wanted to try this place.. so much so that I battled Saturday traffic and trying to find street parking. I would say, the açaí is a bit pricey for the what you get, but I get it, since I'm in La Jolla. I ordered the peanut butter açaí and while the bowl was big, it was only filled halfway. Also, the gentleman who took my order could have offered a smile and a "hi." That would have come a long way. I enjoyed the space and after the long day of adventuring the açaí bowl did hit the spot, hence the good rating. Casual. Parking is via street. Please come and create your own adventure. read more

This is a wonderful hidden gem. It's easy to miss because they do not have a giant sign outside but they have the freshest ingredients! Their smoothies and juices are top tier. My go to is the energy booster. It's a smoothie with dark chocolate, peanut butter, banana, espresso, and almond milk! It's to die for! The dragon fruit power smoothie is amazing as well. Fruittitude is a really cute spot in La Jolla that has boba tea, boba slushies, juices, smoothies, coffees, açaí bowls, and other food options. My husband and I stopped here because I was craving boba and it did not disappoint! I asked what their favorite flavor was and they immediately said mango so I was going to get the jasmine green tea with mango and boba. The worker then told me I could get up to three flavors which really excited me! So I got mango, pineapple, and strawberry. It was delicious, tasted fresh and refreshing, and I absolutely enjoyed it all. My husband and got mango and peach jasmine green tea with boba. He really enjoyed his as well! There was seating inside and outside but we opted for outside. They have so many different drink options that anyone going should be able to find something they would like. Got one of their bowls - I was excited because as you can see it looks so good/ colorful! But, only the top had chicken etc - about 2/3 of it was filled with rice and lettuce. For $16 I don't think I'd get it again. And, unfortunately it made my stomach upset shortly after eating. :/ Maybe stick to their smoothies/juices or açaí bowls when visiting here. read more

When I don't have my acai bowls or smoothies, I really get a Fruititude! I loved this spot in La Jolla, and our acai bowl was carefully curated and fresh. I wish I had the opportunity to relax and enjoy the cafe's ambiance during our trip, but I had to order to go! I only briefly explored the menu, but they offer smoothies, boba, coffee, and food options. We knew what we wanted: the Classic Acai Bowl! It consisted of freshly made acai, strawberry, banana, and hemp granola. It was aesthetically laid out well in the bowl and tasted very fresh. If I were in the area, I would return and try more menu items. Also, this is a perfect spot for a date or to catch up with friends, as there is plenty of seating inside and outside. We were walking around Downtown La Jolla when I was craving something cold to drink. We saw a number of people walking around with yummy looking drinks, so I asked someone where they got it and they pointed us in the direction to Fruittitude. Here is what we ordered: Thai Tea: This was so good! I was hesitant to get it because it seemed like a nontraditional asian drink place. However, I was so pleasantly surprised. You can tell a good thai tea is coming just from the color. I asked for light ice, and they told me they actually don't serve this drink with ice. I love my drinks cold without ice if possible, so this was best case scenario for me. This was perfectly milky and sweet for my taste. I would for sure come back for this one! Mango Smoothie: This was the more sour tasting mango. I think it was more Kent mango flavor instead of the smaller yellow ones. It was a bit more tart than I usually like, but overall ok. The employees were nice and helped us through the menu. The only real complain I have is that there was no boba when we got there. I would have given this place 5 stars if they would have had boba for my order. If I am in the area, I will make sure to stop by again! read more

I want to love this place, and I still go for the Acia bowls, which are very yummy despite the sometimes underripe fruit. Unfortunately the bad outweighs the good. The service is pretty bad, all frowns and no acknowledgment when you come in. They literally just stare at you, and it almost feels like they're angry you're there. I've also noticed that they put in about half as much Acia as they used to (same high price, though). I also hope that they upgrade their website to be able to make more adjustments when ordering pick-up. Right now they suggest using Uber Eats or Door Dash for this. Unfortunately, even though it says these services are "free", the cost of the product is more. I hate wasting but I end up just throwing away what I don't want rather than paying more for them to put on less items. A few small changes would go a long way at this place! read more

We stopped in for a late lunch straight from the airport. We were helped immediately, and the staff was really friendly. We split two Classic Açaí bowls, and honestly you learn why they cost $15. They freshly grind the açaí, then add the beautiful strawberries and bananas that they cut right in front of you. The granola is also great. As an added bonus, their bathroom is immaculate, which was amazing since all 3 kiddos needed to use it. read more
