Regularly shop at this grocery store for necessary food items, hot foods, snacks and drinks. It has happened a number of times over the years, doesn't matter what time of afternoon or early evening. Latest instance was on Friday, 8/16/24 at 4:10 PM. We had dropped by to get a couple of 16 Mixed Piece buckets, but they were out of chicken so we had to wait about 25 minutes. So, we walked around the store to get our other groceries and then picked up the 2 buckets of freshly fried chicken. Waiting for it wasn't that big of an issue. Just the fact that the cook wasn't scheduled to be there until 5:00 PM, as mentioned by the employees, and they were totally out of chicken with other customers waiting to buy some as well. Anyway, finding other bread, milk, chips and Sodas were no problem at the store. Good experience browsing around and going through the self-checkout process. Parking was fine as well. Safeway needs to do something about hiring more people to work the deli and hot foods corner. Gotta do something about the schedule to make it more convenient for the customers and workers.

It's not usually very busy but sometimes it can get a little crazy with the two entrances coming from the two busy roads. The convenience shop is nice but a little small. It has the essentials for a quick stop and the employees that I've encountered have all be efficient, friendly and helpful. I recommend leaving the kiddos in the car at this one because it gets crowded in there fast. In all, it's a great place for gas and to grab a beverage and candy bar all in one stop.
