There's another convenient store across the street that is not as busy. They have gas here and of course the lottery and scratch off tickets that you can buy. At the counter is a mess of previous winners of people who won like $500 and more. Like most convenient stores you can get cokes, candy, tobacco products, and all kinds of snacks here.

Therefore, I walk all the way around to go inside. As soon as I walked in I was not greeted by cashier. But, I did ask for one Georgia Scratch off ticket in which I did win $20. So, I use the money to buy 2 cokes for $3 because they were on sale. History note: My first visit to this convenient store was about 16 years ago. At the time my co workers told me about this place. You see back in 2001, Tennessee did not have the lottery. So, everyone in Cleveland Tennessee came here to buy their lottery tickets. Also, back in 2001 you could buy gas cheaper in Georgia than you could in Tennessee. Anyway, I think business has gone way down for this business since Tennessee got the lottery. Also, I think gas is about the same in both states so they lost business there too.

The store itself is your standard location, but the full grounds are a combination. I enjoy a good QT for a variety of reasons including slightly cheaper gas, clean potties, decent service and the ole fountain drink station. This location checked all those boxes! The location is well kept, clean and stocked. Cashiers were nice and welcomed me in, were friendly at check out and wished me well. Grounds were solid, but I do wish they had a larger and dedicated area to take the pup. Overall, solid 4.5 for this QT location. Don't mind swinging back through when passing through in the future.

There are so many Mr Zips between Cleveland, Ooltewah and Chattanooga that I can't count them. Like…read moreall Mr Zips, they all have the lottery, cokes, candy bars, snacks, newspapers, beer, juice and cigarettes. This one you tend to forget about because it is in a congested area on a corner and you are always taking this short cut to get to the other side of town. So you never think about stopping at this Mr Zip unless you get stopped at the red light, leaving the YMCA, or like me, leaving the car wash next to it.
