We decided to come on a weekday evening for their late night menu because one of friends who lives in Richmond recommended this restaurant. You know it is legit when someone says their favourite Chinese restaurant is outside of Richmond and Vancouver, which are home to many delicious Chinese restaurants! Service was friendly. It was attentive at the start, but soon went downhill. We had to flag down the server to take our order, get our bill, and follow up on the congee that comes with the menu over $30. Despite being 1 of 4 tables, the food also took a while to come, but once one came then most dishes came quickly after (except for the tofu and congee). The servers were friendly, but just not attentive. We ordered 2 noodle dishes and 3 other dishes and prices were decent around $13-$15 per item. The stir fried beef noodles was well flavoured and not too salty. It was a touch greasy and some of the noodles were choppy, but it was the bean sprout/cabbage/onion that tasted off. It didn't taste fresh. The Shanghainese fried noodles was one of my favourites of the night. The noodles were a touch firm, but the flavour was pleasant - not too salty or sweet. The salt pepper pork chop came with fried garlic, onions and peppers. It wasn't overly salty, but the pork chop was dry and didn't taste fresh - tasted like it was frozen and just defrosted. The honey garlic spareribs was another favourite of mine. It was fried crispy and the flavour wasn't overly strong - not too garlicky or overwhelmly sweet. There are different versions of the fried tofu. Some restaurants make them with ample of stir fried garlic or onions and chili pepper. This version looked like squares of chicken nuggets with no toppings. It had a crispy coating and soft interior, but it definitely didn't resembled what the dish usually is. Overall, some of the ingredients and dishes didn't taste fresh, and we were utterly disappointed with the quality and taste of some of the dishes. read more

Fuji Noodle Restaurant is one of the Chinese Restaurants closer to my home. We haven't had a chance dining at this place due to COVID. But, we always ordered take out from this place. We already ordered the same food, such as Peking Duck 2 courses, sweet sour pork with pineapple, eggplant with spicy garlic sauce hotpot, beef shank in house special sauce hot pot and spicy pork floss and string beans. The food very fresh and well cooked. During the holiday, the restaurant also provide free deserve to us. Very excellent customer services. The price of the food is a little bit expensive. Hopefully, we can go dining at this restaurant when everything goes back to normal. I really want to try their noodles. read more

Very authentic food. My go to dishes there are #18 and #218. It's easy to find free parking. The portion sizes are fair for the price. I have gotten take out 5 times, and their quality has been consistent. I will be returning to try some of their other dishes. read more

A first-time dining experience for my lady and I, but daughter had eaten there a few times since the restaurant was recently renamed, and under new management. Ambiance: bright, very clean, neat, and tidy -- tv's on, but audios either off, or set at very low volumes -- colourful floral settings - upon entering the restaurant (at a 'sign in' table), at the service counter and area, and at each of the booth-table seatings. And from our experiences, very clean restrooms as well. Service: friendly, cordial, and helpful throughout our stay. The servers always watching, and prepared to tend to any needs. Dishes ordered came hot from kitchen to table, and were served in an appropriate, and timely sequence. Food: sauteed mixed vegetables (from main menu) -- all remaining items from the dim sum selections -- squid tentacles in peppery salt -- golden tofu -- prawns in peppery salt -- chicken feet in black bean sauce -- steamed pork dumpling -- rice noodle w/soy sauce -- plus, a dessert provided at no-charge - tastes of a coconut & gelatin preparation. Standard dim sum fare, with decent presentations, and preparations. Totally 'on the mark' -- mixed veggies (nice variety, colours, and textures), tofu (so creamy inside, and such a light coating), steamed pork dumplings (flavourful & fully-packed), chicken feet (served at table directly from the kitchen's covered steam basket, very hot, and a spicy-hot sauce). Just a small touch 'off the mark' -- squid tentacles (flavourful and tasty, but a little dry & tough), rice noodle (texture fine, but flavour & taste lacking a little in 'excitement'). Not 'on the mark' -- prawns (flavourful and tasty, but very small, and over cooked). The dessert (cool and tasty, and much-appreciated). The 'Grand Opening Special' was in still in effect -- so we received 10 % off our total order. Overall, 'Fuji Noodle' provided a fun, and well-enjoyed early-lunch dining experience. I noticed that the restaurant had recently changed names and wanted to give it a try. I ordered two pork dishes (#53 & #55) over the phone for pick-up. Upon arrival, I noticed that they'd changed the entrance location - and when I opened the doors I noticed they'd undergone a very nice renovation! The person who helped me was super friendly and nice. My food was ready and piping hot. The interior of the restaurant looks much more contemporary and new compared to what was there before. I also noticed that they have fresh seafood! This type of restaurant is much more common in Vancouver and Richmond and is a very welcome addition to the Tri-cities area! My two pork dishes were delicious! Very flavourful, tender and well executed. Best part was I didn't have to drive to Vancouver or Richmond to get it!!! I highly recommend giving this Cantonese seafood restaurant a try. I really liked the food and look forward to trying more dishes soon! read more

Came here on vacation and went back twice this trip! Super friendly hostess (she and her husband own the restaurant), large group friendly, great prices, and delicious food! We especially liked the eggplant and green bean dish, eel clay pot rice which I didn't take a picture of, and the eight treasure duck, which you can't really find anywhere else. I chose Fuji Noodles from a food delivery service so I can support a local restaurant, especially new ones. I found the name of the restaurant, Fuji, amusing as their menu was all Chinese food. I decided to get Shumai, Steamed BBQ Pork uns, Pan-Fried Noodles with Beef, Yang Chow Fried Rice and Eggplant with Minced Pork in Spicy Garlic Sauce. The dim sums were nothing special: the buns were dry and most likely both items can be purchased in the frozen food aisle in any food store. The best of the lot was the eggplant dish but it wasn't close to spicy at all. The fried rice had plenty of shrimp but lacked taste. We had to mix in the eggplant with the rice to enjoy. The noodles amd beef were also tasteless. We noticed that the dish was very pale compared to other places we had it. A generous addition of soy sauce (we had at home) was needed. I enjoy my dining experience here. This restaurant is a hidden gem which is bright and clean. The staffs are very polite and attentive. There is a wide variety of foods on the menu, not only noodles. I love how they have half sizes so you can try a variety of food. Prices were super reasonable and the packaging for Uber eats delivery was completely spill proof. Appreciated how the meats and vegetables were cut properly for easy consumption. You know some places where they give you like a freaking stalk of long vegetable and you have to take time to cut it in decent pieces Or end up choking? Yeah, I hate that. The place we used to order from moved and we are no longer in their delivery zone we went looking for a new place to order from which can always be a bit scary. The reviews for Fuji Noodle were favorable and we could order it to the house with Door Dash so with some trepidation, we gave it a shot. We ordered the House Special Chow Mein (excellent), the Shrimp fried rice (nothing unique but had great flavour), Sweet and Sour Pork, Beef and Broccoli, Chicken and Vegetable Chop Suey and Almond Chicken. All of the dishes were solid choices. Nothing to knock our socks off but good flavor and as we'd hoped for. We also ordered the Shrimp Egg Rolls which completely sold us on this place.
