First time stopping by today! I struggle with anything that has to do with cars, so I was nervous to come here, but Jacob is so kind and professional. He is my husband's Go-To for all car questions. Thank you Fullerton Stop n Smog for helping me promptly! & Big thank you to Jacob! I appreciate his hard work and would recommend his service to the whole world! Not to mention, I didn't have an appointment and 3 other cars showed up 10 minutes after I did LOL, and Jacob was able to assist them in a timely manner and give them realistic expectations on service times. I would give 10 stars if I could! :) such a gem in our community!

$50 synthetic oil change and gave me a free air freshener! Super nice! The only downside is that they don't have an inside area for you to wait so it can get hot out. Definitely call before going to make sure they have time. Worth it for the price :) read more

I've been here twice now. 1st time for a smog check and 2nd time for an oil change. Had a positive experience both times. Customer service is great and the mechanic had my smog and oil check done quickly. He also found a nail in my tire and patched it up. Prices are very reasonable as well. They offer coupons on their website that you can present on your phone or print out. Jacob helped me out both times I was there. I've already recommended to friends who live in the area. I like the set up of the location as you pull right in right in front of a drive-through test bay. Pull up to the yellow cones, and a tech will greet you and get all of your information and DMV notice. I never got his name, but it's often the same friendly tech that has done my testing. It is nice to see a familiar face even though you only go to a place once every few years. When it is time to test your car, the tech will have you wait inside and he will pull your car forward in to the test bay and do the test. The waiting area inside is air conditioned, very clean, and has several benches to sit on while you wait. When the test is complete, the tech will come in and give you the results which took less than ten minutes on this visit since there was no wait. I was afraid the car might not pass because it has been burning a lot of oil, but luckily it did pass. After paying, they send your pass result to the DMV electronically. If for some reason your car fails the smog test, they will give you one free retest within 30 days. If you go to their website and look in the coupon section, there is a coupon for $10 off your smog test. You are supposed to mention it to the tech when you first arrive, but the friendly cashier was happy to apply it afterwards. This Auto Chek location is a great place to get your car smog tested.

I have a Chevrolet Bolt EUV with a set of tires that practically nobody makes anymore, and one of them had started leaking air. I was worried I was in for an expensive replacement. I'm so thankful ChatGPT directed me to Tire Outlet. The moment I pulled into the parking lot, I was greeted with smiles and employees who were eager to help. The manager personally took care of me, and from the very beginning, everyone was friendly, knowledgeable, and efficient. The speed of service really impressed me. About a year ago, I brought my car to a different tire shop in Fullerton for another leaky tire and ended up waiting 2 1/2 hours before anyone even looked at my car. Today's experience couldn't have been more different. While I relaxed in Tire Outlet's clean, comfortable waiting lounge and got some work done on my laptop, they had everything taken care of in about 15 minutes. Then came the biggest surprise of all. They told me my tire didn't need to be replaced after all--they were able to fix it easily by hand. And when I went to pay, they insisted on not charging me anything. Seriously... who does that these days?! I was blown away. That level of honesty and integrity is incredibly rare. They could have easily sold me a new tire, especially since my tires are difficult to find, but instead they fixed the actual problem and sent me on my way. From now on, Tire Outlet will be the only place I take my car for tire service. Jared took the van for a spin, brought it back and lifted it up. They found a little oil seepage coming out of the transfer case. I let them know that I did see a transfer case drain/fill on the CarFax report before I bought it. Jared thinks they just didn't torque it properly so they were going to retorque and clean up around the area and keep an eye on it. Worst case scenario, they would need to order a new drain plug gasket and I'd have to come back to get it replaced. Thankfully, the drain plug just needed to get tightened. I was in and out in almost exactly an hour just as Robert promised. Thanks The Toy Shop team!! Pro Tip: they are booked out at least a week in advanced so make your appointment ASAP!

He takes the time to walk through every recommendation, clearly distinguishing between immediate repair versus those that are safe to hold off within a certain time frame. No pressure, no hidden agendas--just straightforward, professional advice! Just recently, I went to the dealership because I have the 3-year pre-paid plan. However, they refused to help with an "oil top-off" warning and tried to charge me a $319 diagnostic fee for a potential leak. I drove straight to Ronin Autowerks and even without an appointment, Noel took care of it immediately. Ronin Autowerks is a small shop. Don't expect a lounge with selection of free beverages and spread of snacks while you wait for your car, but here is the bottom line: I would rather have a straightforward, honest advisor like Noel who saves me hundreds of dollars over some fancy amenities. If you want a shop that prioritizes your car and your wallet - this is the place!

I've had smog checks but not as great as this experience before. 1) Kitty is just priceless. 2) Waiting is never a problem. 3) Appointments are accepted. 4) You Must Try Nick's next door.
