After purchasing a day pass, I took a short nap and was approached by the manager on duty, João Maldonado, who told me that sleeping was not allowed. If that is truly the policy, it should be clearly communicated before guests purchase a pass or posted somewhere in the facility. I didn't see any signage stating that naps were prohibited.
What made the experience even more confusing is that I have seen other people napping there before, so the rule felt inconsistently enforced. More importantly, this is advertised as a wellness center. If I'm paying for a day pass to enjoy the wellness amenities, I don't think taking a short nap in a relaxation space should be an issue.
I left feeling disappointed and unwelcome. Clear, consistently enforced policies would have made for a much better guest experience.
