Beyond is the historical Oaklawn horse racing track. Site is about 10 minutes from the heart of Hot Springs. Some nearby franchises for eats. Plenty of free parking on surface lots. The Moroccan Suite was all that was available when we booked and the pictures of the room do not do it justice. It is huge and spacious with enough room that it resembles a one bedroom apartment. The bed was comfortable, the fire places are a romantic for couples, and the kitchenette was stock with snacks and drinks. The bathroom has a huge walk in shower and the tub for two had a historic arch over the it that is from a palace in Morocco. The package we purchased gave us the building for 4 hours and could accomodate 100 guests. There is so much included that it really is a bargain, especially for someone planning their wedding from out of town like myself. There was no need for me to purchase accessories for my flower girl or ring bearer. They even included the flower petals for the flower girl to toss. We were provided a guest book and toasting flutes to take home afterward. We had cake cutter and stand to use for the day. I was able to burn cds for the reception and the ceremony and use them without any issue. MP3 players can be used on their equipment, as well. There are changing rooms for both the bride and the groom. The bride's room connects directly to the back of the chapel so she and her maids can enter directly without being seen. We used a catering company that brings their own food trailer out to cook beforehand and this was not a problem for the chapel. There is plenty of room in the reception hall for lots of food to be placed. Our package included a champagne fountain. We were required to bring our own champagne or white wine. If you bring wine, they will provide Sprite to make it into a spritzer type drink. I was disappointed that our 4 hour timeframe also included the hour we were allowed to come before the ceremony to get ready. My wedding was on a Sunday afternoon so doing a rehersal was difficult. We were allowed to do a Saturday morning rehersal, since Saturday night is a big night for weddings. We easily did a rehearsal lunch afterward. We encountered an emergency, right before the ceremony was to start. We were all so worried but Faye, the owner, swooped in and saved the day! She didn't get frazzled and fixed us up in a jiff! During the reception, she and her helper even served our cake! The decorations are beautiful inside this location. There are spotlights on each table and around the room that they can change to suit the colors you'd like for your wedding/reception!

After bringing back the boat we rented before our time was even up the group I was with got accused of having a scratch on the side of the boat($498) Its like the boys working there knew where the scratch was the whole time because they went straight to it...A scratch that you could cover up with a sharpie! We got told to never come back to rent from this marina again by a bunch of teenagers who work there.. They were completely rude, back talking all of us and talking to us like we were 5 year olds! As much as we argued back with these kids, waited around for a cop to come, posting three reviews on their facebook page, making a personal status about this place you would think they should believe us that we didn't make a scratch on the boat..hell we didn't even have an anchor! When we were on the sandbar we had someone on the boat and someone hanging on to the ladder making sure we didn't let boat get away from us or damage it! We also got accused by the manager that we hooked on to some other boat when we were on the water which is not true! Do not rent from this marina unless you want to be accused of something that you didn't do!
