    Funnel cake and powdered sugar!
    Lidia E.

I ordered a funnel cake and it was made fresh. Just a simple funnel cake and powdered sugar. Crispy exterior and chewy interior. It traveled well too!! Delicious!

Ordered the funnel cake deluxe with strawberry and chocolate, none of the extras (powdered sugar, whipped cream, ice cream). My funnel cake was loaded with the delectable sweet toppings I requested. It was irresistible, served hot and fresh, so fluffy and airy, just perfect. There was no wait to order, and service was standard and sufficient. Several tables were available when I visited this Sunday afternoon. The dessert shop's seating allowed for perfect viewing of the show taking place at Pier 39 right behind the carousel, an entertainer performing typical stunts and tricks to wow the crowd. Me, I was more wowed by my funnel cake!

Love this place always get a funnel cake with everything on it; powdered sugar, whipped cream, vanilla ice cream, and strawberry syrup (but you can change your syrup type). I like to put the ice cream on the side. $18 for a big, fried funnel cake (over priced, if I must say). It will feed 2 grownups but like 3 kids. I can't finish these they are too much.

Just your average funnel cake shop conveniently located on pier 39! No complaints and they had our cake hot and ready within minutes. Not much seating area so be prepared to stand and eat.

Whenever I visit Pier 39 I debate about what to get for dessert and if I want a funnel cake I think of getting a funnel cake at Fun Factory food. Their funnel cake tastes fresh, has a good ratio of crunchiness and chewy texture from the dough and there's a good amount of powdered sugar on top. Sometimes I order this dessert with ice cream, but this time they had a BOGO offer on their original funnel cake with powdered sugar, so I took advantage of their offer! The staff was friendly and I got my dessert in a timely manner. I would recommend this place if you like funnel cakes!

Fries had the perfect amount of crispness. Funnel cake wasn't too sweet and portion was reasonable for the price. Line was quite long since we came on a holiday, but the service was fairly decent.

The viral cheese coin has finally made it to SF! Freshly made, you get melty cheese inside of a soft and crispy dough- the picture perfect savory snack for a nice San Francisco day. The business is small so it make take a few minutes to get ypur order, but service is friendly. There are some seats along side but you cam always go to any of the public pier seats.

This is a nice unique spot in the sea of eateries in Pier 39. This one does serve some fun food and I got a funnel cake that I had not had in a very long time and wolfed down.

Hidden little spot for desserts! I was craving a funnel cake and it was found and satisfied! They made it fresh and it was a warm and crispy and the ice cream on top hit the spot! My friends got the deep fried Oreos and they were happy with it!

I love funnel cake....I mean love it. This one was really good. Could've had more powder, but the strawberries and ice cream was a nice touch. Whipped cream was a necessary addition as well. The kid at the register was patient while we decided on what to purchase. We sat outside the entrance of the restaurant and watched a live comedy show. What a day.

I'm usually not looking out for junk food but when you're on Pier 39, definitely stop by Fun Food Factory! This little hole in the wall serves up generic, hearty junk food at a pretty quick pace. I decided to order a funnel cake to share with some friends as well as a corndog. Funnel Cake: Nothing special. Just a very solid funnel cake. They are freshly made (surprisingly some places just have pre-frozen ones) and comes with whipped cream and strawberries. Everything meshed well together and it makes for a great treat :) Corndog: Just a standard corndog. Freshly made to order and a decent portion size

Minus the fries! I ordered the brisket sandwich, which was surprisingly tastier than I expected. As I started eating, the line started getting longer! If you want to skip the long wait, come 10-15 minutes before the lunch crowd gets out!

Some may say what can you expect from a franchised small business. But a business is a business…read moreregardless of what type. I write today not because I expect five star customer service or food at Subway, but because I expect common behavior such as explaining a menu at a minimum at any food business. I didn't think it was out of the ordinary that with three staff (all assuming they were family members who run and operate the business) were there and no other customers, it took them at least five minutes to just acknowledge me. So, I just watched and listened as they continued chatting away with each other and standing at the register. When finally, a gentleman came to ask my order. I ordered and he was having a phone conversation so kept repeating the same question. That's all ok and I can get over it. However, it was when the second customer came in. He asked if I ordered and I said yes. Of course, they all took their leisurely time to ask his order. He orders the new item of the nachos on the menu. As he was trying to request toppings, one of the older ladies at the register appears so quick, I didn't realize her legs can move that fast - and starts yelling, "You can't add toppings, that's it! Just cheese and whatever it comes with!" So, the customer asks "I can't pay extra for it?" She yells again, "No! That's it! Doritos, cheese, and whatever it comes with!" And SHE asks him "Have you had this before?" And as the customer tries to ask something else, he says "No, I haven't had this before, it's my first time and last time I'll ever have it." Obviously, he was unhappy with her tone that he said this, but never once did he raise his voice or get upset. He was so calm. But, instead of just explaining how this new item "works," this lady just continues to repeat the above and by that time, I'm just checking out and was confused and very displeased by how she was treating him from the body language, voice tone and volume. And one can hypothesize why. Was it his skin color? The way he was dressed? Why would it even matter? But I can't help to think it might matter more than we would want it to. To add further context, he was just a worker nearby getting off work getting food. If it's a new item on a menu, it doesn't cost the business owner to just explain it without yelling. If it had been explained, I wonder if maybe he would've ordered another item and maybe it wouldn't have been his "first and last time." This was a witness-account experience that directly impacted my personal experience at this business. It doesn't matter how big of a franchise or small of a hole in the wall business, a paying and respectful customer should not be obligated to know new menu items without ever seeing or having tried it and be yelled at for asking questions about it. Pretty simple and completely unnecessary how it had to be played out. **I understand and can imagine all the types of rude and horrible customers and non-customers a business can get, not to mention, the difficulties of owning a business. However, that sentiment goes both ways- even the customers can be having their own challenges , everybody is going through something and when they walk into a Subway, it means they want something fast and fairly affordable to just fill their stomach. If someone doesn't know an item on the menu, just explain it. Don't yell and treat them like s***.

I love being able to customize my bowl exactly how I want it, and the ingredients always taste quality - especially the guacamole and their perfectly seasoned rice. The staff here work efficiently, even during the lunch rush, and they're generally friendly and accommodating with special requests. The restaurant is kept clean, and I appreciate their commitment to sustainable sourcing. Whether I'm grabbing a quick bite after a workout or need a reliable meal on the go, Chipotle is always a solid choice. The online ordering system makes it super convenient too - my order is usually ready right on time. Highly recommend for anyone looking for fresh, customizable, and satisfying Mexican-inspired food!

I also ordered another soft flour tortilla on the side ($0.50 extra) and added black beans, fresh tomato salsa, and roasted chili-corn salsa on the side. I opened the extra soft flour tortilla and added the black beans, fresh tomato salsa, and roasted chili-corn salsa, then placed the chicken taco with the fajita veggies and brown rice on top. It ended up looking and eating more like a mini chicken burrito, which was a very good value for the price. Surprisingly, the fajita veggies were not too salty this time. The filling also wasn't too watery, so I was able to eat the mini burrito without the sauce dripping from the tortilla. Overall, the total was $4.94, including tax, and turning a taco into what felt like a mini chicken burrito was a very good value. If you're looking for a smaller, budget-friendly meal, this is a great option.

This was my second visit to this Chipotle location, and unfortunately the experience was again…read moredisappointing. I understand that they stay busy with both dine-in and takeout orders, and I'm willing to give grace where it's due--but the overall operation here feels chaotic and poorly managed. Whoever is running this location clearly needs support and a better system in place. The cleanliness was the biggest issue. The floors were dirty, tables were messy, and trash was overflowing throughout the dining area. In a restaurant this busy, tables and trash should be checked and maintained every 30 minutes to an hour like clockwork. Paying customers should not have to wipe down their own tables or hunt for a clean place to sit. Basic supplies were also missing. There was no ice in the machine, no forks or spoons stocked, and lids for drinks were nearly gone. The counter area was dirty as well. These are fundamental details that should be monitored continuously, especially during peak hours. A simple restocking and cleaning system would make a huge difference. What made this more frustrating was seeing several employees standing around behind the counter, appearing overwhelmed and unsure of what to do--like deer in the headlights. Time wasn't being used efficiently, and no one seemed assigned to maintaining the dining area or addressing obvious issues. With clearer roles and leadership, this could be avoided. With the increased cost of eating at Chipotle these days, you'd expect that higher prices would come with a cleaner, more organized environment. Right now, that's not the case at this location. The food itself is fine, but the lack of cleanliness and organization makes it hard to enjoy the experience or want to return anytime soon.
