The goats and their kids were so much fun to feed, as were the raccoons. There are so many different kinds of animals and birds to see. The food offerings are also very reasonably priced. There are mostly fast food offerings, but also salad and falafel. We weren't sure how long the girls would be entertained, but we stayed a good 4 hours or more. There's a also an amazing beach covered in tiny seashells on the sea behind the venue where you can get a great tan, swim and play in the waves. The water is fairly shallow and you can go out pretty far to play in the waves without it being deep. If you're in the area of Skagen and looking for a fun family day, look no further.

This is a very nice zoo. Not too big - but just right for a days visit. It was situated close to…read morethe towncenter of the lovelly town of Randers and featured loads of wild animals. I particularly liked the spooky fish tank with the big pirahna like fish. I got to experience the feeding time of these fish, and the noise of those jaws snapping for the food - I will never forget. On the way around the pool we were invited to use a few underwater binoculars. This meant leaning well over the edge of the pool. Heart pounding. Hehe. The rest of the zoo was well stocked and I enjoyed my visit. Will definitely recommend the zoo and its very polite and helpful staff. One last thing before I go....the gift-shop was awsome. I'm glad I brought our big car.
