We walked past this store when we were there in May of 2023. A small print caught my eye in the…read morewindow and I had to have it! When we went in I discovered that the print came in a variety of colors, a perfect gift for many friends. I purchased 6 of them. When I got home I realized I had not selected one for myself! So I sent a letter to the store from the U.S. along with enough (left over) euros to cover the cost and the shipping, then I crossed my fingers. I was so happy when I went to the mail today and found a package with the print inside! Thank you so much Caravansar!

The Picasso Museum in Málaga was totally worth the visit. I really enjoyed learning about Picasso's…read moreentire life, from his childhood and marriages to the inspirations behind his art. It was very interesting to see how his style evolved through different periods of his career. Buying tickets online is definitely the best option to avoid the long lines. The museum is quite popular, so even with tickets, you should expect a bit of a wait.

Solid collection of Picasso's sketches, paintings, sculptures, and studies (miniatures to prepare…read morefor larger pieces). Malaga was the place of Picasso's birth and childhood. His house museum is also a 5 minute walk from here. The collection is divided into 12 rooms that pretty much chronologically display his works. From his more realistic works to the more abstract and surreal works, the storytelling aspect of this museum was nice, especially in detailing how his work changed during the Spanish Civil War and World Wars. I scanned the QR code for the mobile audioguide which was nice to learn more about certain works. Took about 1.5 hours listening to almost all audio clips. I came during the winter holiday season, so booking in advance is definitely easier. The museum also features works from other artists like Dali.
