So took it Funky Monkey for a windows 10 update and after he installed it , it would NOT hook up the the internet and so took it back to him 2 more times and still he couldn't fix it , so had to take it to another guy & he fixed it in 2 hours , and it was a simple fix . For its location, the Monkey is simply amazing. You could go bananas over some of their deals. They recently sold some standard desktops for $150 and notebooks for $250 on a special deal. They take trade-ins and will service most anything. Reportedly, part of the test for a tech-monkey at the Monkey is an absolutely impossible timeframe in which the candidate has to assemble, load and start a complete system from off-the-shelf components. They have business from all over the 5-state area, and it goes without saying that they know their trade. They get 4 thumbs up (had to take off my shoes) for backing their product and brownie points for taking most any catalog order you can envision at the best prices I have found in the region. Better on-the-shelf selection might have won them that elusive fifth star, but I am highly impressed anyway. Unintelligent and unknowledgeable, or just plain scam artists. I ordered a system from them back in 2011. I was active duty at the time, and wanted it ready when I came home on leave. I had a budget of $2000, and spent just under that amount. At the time, I knew very little about how to shop for components, and was simply following people's advice. Because I wanterd an ASUS motherboard which he insisted were the lowest quality on the market (feel free to laugh at the stupidity of that statement), I ordered it myself and shipped it to him. That's not the issue; I can understand having a bad experience with a reputable brand. The issue is the psu he chose. In a $2000 dollar system, he told me that a $100 dollar ultra 750w psu would be what I needed. First, I would have been fine with 550w; 650w tops if I was going to put in a second gpu (which I never did). Second, if you look at tom's hardware psu tier list (http://www.tomshardware.com/forum/id-2547993/psu-tier-list.html) they are at the very bottom, the never buy, risk of fire tier.
