Drive all over town looking for champurrado..finally stopped at funland raspados on Irvington..found some!!! It was a rainy afternoon and I got my champurrado..we drove up to the drive thru waiting for my hot delicious drink..and when I finally got it!!! It was COLD!!!! Come on...cold champurrado....we went back to get it warmed up..I will never go there again..and wait time was long...Do not buy champurrado from there...they had to microwave my drink and it wasn't very good....it tasted liked spoiled milk!!!! I do not recommend this place for Champurrado.....or anything at all...that was a waste of $10!!!!!! ....update...took the champurrado back and had them taste it!!! YES!!!! They confirmed that it was spoiled milk!!! NEVER will I buy anything from them again....I will report this to the Health Department..Please Beware on what you buy from that place..."I'm sorry" isn't going to fix the problem read more

The hubby and I only came because it was highly recommended by his brother. He got a strawberry raspado (sno-cone) with vanilla ice cream. They used fresh strawberry juice and strawberry as well a hard vanilla ice cream (one scoop) in the center of the raspado. He did not have any complaints and was happy he could put as much Lechera (sweetened milk) on as he wanted as that was self-serve. I elected to try their banana split. It was quite appealing seeing as they used fresh strawberries and pineapple to top it. It had granola instead of nuts and that was surprisingly delicious. Initially, the banana split looked great until I realized there were three large vanilla scoops stuffed into a hot dog sized to-go styrofoam tray. It was topped with whipped cream and a stingy drizzle of chocolate sauce and one half of a banana. For $5.25 it was not worth it. The ice cream was so cold it broke my plastic spoon and once I picked up the tray it made a mess. I had all of these ingredients in my lap, on the floor and in the car. A totally sticky mess. The customer service needs major improvement. They spoke English and Spanish but were not at all welcoming or appeared to be happy to have customers. Upon entering there are two side: the left is filled with party/event planning items and separate cashier stations (2) there and on the right is a small counter with one cashier station, small kitchen area with a small freezer for a selection of dessert and snack items. Really delicious! I had raspado without ice cream. Super delicious. Didn't take like tap water like most places I've tried. I also had the nachos and churro. All pretty decent snacking. Customer service was great. English and Spanish speaking. 4 stars because I believe there is always room for improvement read more

So we ordered a basic tiger piñata for my kids 1st bday 3 weeks ago. I was told to pick up on the day of at noon. Once I arrived the piñata was not there but they were nice and to get rid of me they said they would take it to my house in 45 min and that I shouldn't worry and I should go home and continue prepping for the party. So I thought "man what an awesome place!" Door delivery to sahuarita for not having the piñata on time that's how everyone should to business. At 2 pm mind it over an hour late at this time they all me and ask me to meet them half way after they told me they would deliver to my house, I said absolutely not you said you would bring it now you bring it. Party started at 3pm and the piñata was nowhere to be found and they hadn't called me to tell me anything . So I called the lady and she said that she had just quit but if I gave her my address they would bring it. I called the owner who had already given my address to the delivery lady and she had no clue what she was doing and said she had txt the lady and promised to call me back. 4:30 came around and no call... So I called back and they said they were on their way . 5:30! Came and they finally got there when the party ended at 6pm! After being embarrassed and the owner never calls to apologize or anything. I always try to support Mexican owned businesses because I want my people to succeed and stuff like this happens. No regards for your time and money ( they charged me $67 for an under 3' piñata that was supposed to be a tiger and they gave me a tigger form pooh .) what a poorly ran business and apparently by the reviews this is not the first time. I will never buy anything there, and I'll make sure no one I know does. Good thing my 1 year old won't remember this. Disgusting business practices. read more

Oh Funland...We reserved the train for my son's 3rd Birthday party 2 years ago. Paid a lot of money. Two days before the party took place my husband and I stopped in and made sure to confirm time and address omce again with the owner. Long story short the staff & train arrived 3 hours late to my son's birthday party. By the time they had finally arrived a few of our guests had already left the party. The excuse was that they got lost on the way to our house. Even though they had both our phone numbers written down on the contract & invoice, not once did they bother to call us or answer any of the multiple calls we made the entire time. We were so irritated and upset that we didn't even bother to argue with them. They had already ruined the party for our son and guests. We just tried to make the best of the situation. At the end of the day we were very disappointed. The following week I called in a few times to try and speak with the "owner" and address the issue. Unfortunately, he also never returned any of our calls. We finally gave up on trying. We simply did not want to waste anymore of our time. It must be habit for them to do business this way! I walked in to order a piñata and the girl at the counter barely looked up to acknowledge me...when she finally did I asked if I could order a piñata (which I have done many times before). She told me I couldn't order a piñata unless I got a package such as chairs and tables and then I could order one. She she too busy cutting something out to explain why this was their new policy (I asked and she said it JUST changed last week). I also had gotten all 3 of my kids down to order and it was a waste of time. Didn't get to order the piñata I needed but did get horrible customer service! read more

I was very nervous about coming here because of the terrible reviews first off. I kept seeing the yummy menu items on social media and so I made a comment "too bad for the bad service." I was informed this business was under new management and to give it a shot. The menu seemed large and items were reasonably priced. The service was prompt, definitely no warm and fuzzy feeling but professional. The desserts were good. We got half a pina loca and it was presented well and tasted fresh. Everything was made to order and tasted freshly prepared. I would like to return and give a full review more savory choices like the corn cocktail. The staff were so rude, and had attitude. The raspados don't have the carnation milk. You have to pour it yourself and it doesn't fill the raspado making it less tasteful. I have had better raspados and service. Will not be going there again. read more

The raspados aren't really good. Seems like they're very stingy with the fruit. My raspado had about 6 strawberries and 3 pieces of piña, the rest was just ice and juice. Strawberries tasted like canned ones. read more

By far worst customer service, over priced so much competition out there you would think they would lower the prices. Call a month in advance to cancel reservation and they only give store credit. They have delivered wrong jumping castles charged a 30 delivery fee as if they didn't just make 400 off of me. I have recommended this company to several people but after last experience I refuse to use them. They don't tell you that if you get a piñata from them you have to pick it up its not included with the delivery so we had to leave the day of the party to go get it. I recommend to people do your homework first before considering them. So many more companies with the same quality of products for better deals!!!!! read more

Absolutely horrible, I ordered a "tea cup" piñata and all they did was print out a picture of a teacup and stuck it on the front of the piñata.. very tacky and unacceptable.. they also over charged me in taxes and on my whole order. They did not give me the stick that I paid for and when I called to speak to a manager or owner nobody called me back . Upon negotiating a party package for my sons 1st bday, the owner came across as insincere and just trying to sell me anything he could. Being it was the first place we visited, I didn't yet realize fully how EXTREMELY OVERPRICED they were. I regretfully purchased a cake (half sheet) for $100. Decorations looked to be done by a pre-schooler and the fresh strawberries that were promised were almost non existent. The cake was dry and crumbled as if it had been made the day before. No lid either to protect the cake during transport. As a business owner myself I can clearly spot other business owners who are just trying "to get rich over night." The ones who don't think far enough to understand that a business thrives on longevity and consistency in good customer satisfaction. My advice to the owners would be to go that little extra mile, DONT sub contract cake-making to Joe Shmoe for $25 a cake, turn around and mark it up 75% and put your brand on it, and lastly, reduce your prices a tad bit and don't focus on what you lose in the short run, instead focus on the customers you gain in the long run and the consistency that you will provide to your business and perhaps have the chance to pass it down to your children. read more

i have had more then one bad experience with this place(i should have stuck with my gut instinct the second time). they ruined two significant parties for me. the cakes are horrible, don't look anything like what i asked for. the customer service is ridiculous. i left a million messages with staff, the "owner" never got back to me. i had to stalk her. she set up a date for samples to be viewed and cancelled last minute from wednesday to saturday. four days before my party she said cake was going to be $110 more than initially stated. real businesses state the price before the cake is made. mind you, i have been planning this for over a month with her. horrible customer service and very unethical. i do not recommend you go to them unless you want your party ruined. read more

Wish I could give ZERO stars. They were over half an hour late to our event to deliver a bounce house. Also, they did not have an extension cord, which required us to relocate the bounce house which caused our site to be less visible. Will never use again and would not recommend to anyone. read more

I spoke to one of the owners over the phone, she assured their train was available on the date I requested, I requested a time from 415pm-615pm she assured that was no problem, she then said she was on her way into the shop and that she would call me right back to fax a contract and that I could pay the deposit over the phone, I didn't hear from her that day, my parents went in the next day I wanted them to pick up the contract, left a message with the associate to have one of the owners call me, received no call again, the following day I had my sister go pick up the contract, I gave them a call and they said the train must be reserved a month in advance and must be before 4 or after 7, this was not stated during my original conversation with one of the owners, in my opinion this is not professional. I have a huge circle of family and friends who do business with this place. My nephew has a party today and they are supplying a few things, this will be the last time any friends and family do business with Funland. Extremely unsatisfied. read more
